Nicos took us to Paximadia island on his boat and gave us a barbecued lunch there. The boat journey was about an hour and a half. There were umbrellas on the stony beach for shade. The little bay was very calm and the snorkelling was good because the water was so clear. The barbecue meal was very, very nice. Snorkelling gear was provided and also plenty of water. There was even wine/beer provided with the meal. The staff are also very friendly. All was clear away and nothing was left on the island. If I could give 12 out of 10 for this trip I would. Wel worth taking the trip.
I read the other reviews and was encouraged to stay here, well what a disappointment 2 slabs to sleep on, poor facilities although the pool looked OK, fortunately we are only staying one night! No tea or coffee facilities and poor communication. The room had no window so no chance of fresh air. However the breakfast was really good.
My husband and I stayed at Little Inn for a week in September and it was an excellent choice of hotel. We were welcomed after a late night flight by a lovely lady on the reception desk. She checked us in swiftly and showed us to our room. Located on the first floor,it was spacious and bright and very comfortable. We had a fridge for snacks and drinks, a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and a very clean big bathroom. Towels and bedding were changed in request and the room was tidied daily. Breakfast was buffet style with plentiful choice. The fresh Greek yogurt and fresh fruit was delicious. This hotel is in Kokkinos which is a small town. It is completely uncommercialised but has a good selection of taverns and restaurants. It is also an ideal location from which to explore the island by car. Little Inn definitely lived up to our expectations and i can highly recommend it.…
My wife and I stayed at Little Inn this past August for only one night of our two-week trip in Greece, but it was by far our best hotel service experience in Greece. The staff welcomes and treats you like family. We stayed talking late into the night at the bar with Helen, the owner, and a multi-generational family who had been coming to Little Inn annually for decades. The rooms are clean and simple and an excellent value. The pool is nice, though we found it on the chillier side because it's in the shade much of the day. Although we were traveling as a couple, we saw children, and it seemed to be a very family-friendly hotel. It's just across the street from the beach, and we had no trouble parking on the street right in front of the hotel. Also, though the town is quiet, it is close to the restaurants. In fact, the restaurant we ate at was perhaps our best meal in Greece (even when compared to our visit to a Michelin star restaurant in Athens!). We found out afterward that the restaurant was owned by the hotel owner's brother, but careful to be objective, the staff at Little Inn didn't recommend it over any of the town's other restaurants. I see why that family has returned so often for so many years. A wonderful establishment in a beautiful town run by kind people at a great price.…
