Arrived at woodland springs to a warm welcome after a very long drive to get here, (5 hours) our pitch was pitch 2 on the new part of the site . Very happy lots of space no one in front of you . Lovely dog walking field and they even put some tennis balls in a bucket for your dog to fetch. Went into the office to pay for an extra nights stay and the lady was very helpful when I asked about the best farm shop nearby lovely owners and a nice and quiet site just what we wanted , Pictures of pitch 2 and from the bbq area in the field looking down on the site. Tv signal ok mobile data ok , shops short drive away . Site is gravel and stones so great when it’s a wet day . Best part for large touring vans is the new bit the others are smaller and some are close together. I’m very happy with our pitch

Lovely site well maintained by nice people. Adult only site and very quiet and peaceful. Small shop on site with larger shop half hour walk at Whiddon Down Services. Also at Whiddon is the excellent Post Inn PH with good beer and pub grub. Finally beautiful dog walk - best in the UK!

Stayed overnight at this fabulous secure site en route to the coast. It's immaculately kept, with spacious pitches, and great sized dog walk and picnic areas. The shower and washing facilities were spotless, with a good covid processes in place. The shop was well stocked and the wardens couldn't do enough to ensure the stay was enjoyable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and will certainly return.

We only had one night here as we were returning our motor home to near Tedburn St Mary. This is a lovely site with large pitches on gravel. Considering we are still under covid rules they worked well at this site especially the shower block where you move a slide notification left or right (vacant occupied) which was restricted to three people. We had brought our dog with us and they were catered for with a field doggy walk. We had a drama with one of our friends who ricked her ankle badly just as we set off for the local pub having booked the evening meal (think pub grub) they couldn't go. Penny and Ron who are working full time at the site very kindly offered to drive the two us to the pub so we didn't miss our time slot. This was a very nice gesture. They also assisted with ice and first aid for our friends. This was adults only so the site was quiet and hardly any barking or nuisance from pet dogs of which there were a few. Everything was clean. I would recommend the site and will be returning in the not too distant future to explore that part of Devon.

We were due to stay at the park in the next two weeks but due to my wife being diagnosed with long COVID we are now having to sell our caravan. We asked if we could have a small percentage back as a gesture of good will and we’re informed quite bluntly that not their fault but they were willing to keep out deposit and move the remanding money to a new date. Explained that we will not be able to do this due to having to sell our caravan we we told that it is not there fault and we would have to give up the £200! Chances are very high that they will rebook the pitch and make double the money!
