I stayed just for the one night, the room was good and staff friendly. This hotel represented good value for money and I would stay again next time I need to visit Solihull. Only one bad comment and that is the room was a little cold there was heating but it wasn't very effective.

I stayed here the other night and must say I thought the rooms were excellent with everything you would need and also clean and spacious. The bar was big and had a great choice of real ales, the lady at reception was very welcoming and couldn't do enough. I would also say for someone travelling this is ideal, 10 min...

stayed one night on way to Glasgow, pleasant staff and clientele, good savings on internet offer, rooms clean and tidy but a bit small and the bath plug was stuck so you had to stand in shower water. Good eateries near by and choice of bars.

We just enjoyed another very nice meal at the Greswolde. A large family group we were taken very good care of from start to finish. The meals were delicious, we asked for a jug of gravy and this was forthcoming straight away, ditto a jug of cream for our coffees. The vegetables were fresh and cooked beautifully (not too soft...

Very large room, huge super king bed, lovely crisp white bedding, very pleasant staff. Could not be faulted. Re restaurant, as good pub food as I have had and this in a historic village that has more restaurants than residents! A first class short stay. Be sure to visit Baddesly Clinton and Packwood House.

We visited for a family birthday celebration. We assumed it would be quiet at this time of year but it was lucky we booked as there were no tables available for walk ups. The bar area was very busy with a lively, buzzing atmosphere. The restaurant has been refurbished recently and is clean and very spacious with a cosy and...

Visited on a Saturday evening and despite not booking we were allocated a table for six. The restaurant has recently been refurbished and the decor was nice. Menu OK but would have liked more vegetarian options. Staff friendly. Some of the meat on our starter platter was overdone, the first pint of beer ordered had to be returned and despite...

The recent refurbishment gets top marks from us. Pub area very welcoming. Hotel area, both reception and rooms lovely. Room comfy and quiet. Nice to see that they have interconnecting rooms for families should you need. Temperature of hot water in bathroom may need some adjusting as the shower started out at the temp of molten lava! But I'm sure...

Impressive building situated on the High Street. Reception, bar and dining areas had recently been decorated to a very high standard. Reception was efficient. I did find carrying my luggage difficult up several small flights of stairs. My room was also attractively decorated as was the bathroom. I would stay again.

The Greswolde is a stylish, and sophisticated hotel set in the quaint village of Knowle. The Greswolde takes its name from Henry Greswolde Lewis, once joint Lord of The Manor of Knowle.
