Sirios Village lies in one of the most beautiful areas of Chania, Kato Daratso, which is 4 km west of the city of Chania and 14 km from Chania airport. A magnificent Mediterranean Village, built on a verdant plot area of 2.7 hectares. Small white detached houses are “scattered” inside trees and flowers, where their architectural design blends in with the surrounding environment in perfect harmony, only 350 m away from the sandy beach.
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.

Sirios Village Hotel & Bungalows is often celebrated for its family-friendly atmosphere, complete with pools and activities for children, as well as its prime location near Chania and beaches. The staff's helpfulness and the hotel's overall cleanliness receive positive remarks, though the drink selection and bar service sometimes fall short.
While the entertainment offerings are varied, travelers have voiced concerns about the value for money and the dated nature of some rooms and amenities.

Very friendly staff, special thanks to Stavros and Maria in the restaurant as well as Nektarios and Wasiliki at the reception! We spent two weeks in October. Every day a different cuisine was served, Italian, Greek, Cretan, etc. Delicious cakes! Lots of vegetables, tasty meats, only fish weak in taste in my opinion. Drinks, ice cream, simple cakes and popcorn (very nice idea) available all the time. In fact, you can eat all the time because between lunch and dinner fries, gyros, pita, pizza are available. I don't drink alcohol, so I don't express an opinion on it. Rooms cleaned daily, towels changed. Beach towels also could be changed as many times as needed without charge. Very comfortable mattresses, which is rare in vacation hotels. For covering only a sheet but a bedspread/blanket is provided upon request. The water in the sea in October was really warm. To the sea you have to walk a bit (5 minutes), on the way back steeply uphill. For us it was a nice walk because the cove is lovely and the beach not too crowded. The hotel with attractions for children, so there were a lot of them, so for those who want peace and quiet I would rather not recommend. We didn't mind :) In the hotel you can drink tap water so you don't have to multiply plastic trash (think bottles). Of course, water was also always available in the restaurant, but not in bottles only to pour from the tap. Congratulations for your green approach!

The hotel is in a quiet but convenient location close to Chania, which can be reached by bus in 10 minutes, the ticket costs €1.20. The entire complex looks nice, well-kept greenery, wonderful orange trees under the windows, banana trees, palm trees, large swimming pools and a sufficient number of sunbeds around. The food is tasty, good quality and always fresh. The staff is extremely smart, friendly and very committed to serving guests. The selection of alcohol is sufficient, but not outstanding. The only point that disappointed us was the virtual lack of entertainment during the day and in the evening.

The hotel was super cozy with small paths with beautiful flowers.
Unfortunately not a hotel we would choose again for a trip without children.
We had booked Superior Double Room with balcony/terrace, private pool.
The room with private pool, was a bit of a mixed pleasure. The pool itself was nice and was cleaned every day, good size if you just want to use it to cool a little and a big plus that you have your own sunbeds and umbrella. Men.... Unfortunately there were several things that pulled down, such as that there was no privacy, people who passed by could see directly into both the pool and the room.
We had nothing against children, and hearing them happy was fine, but there was a "padehat" in the children's department that ran with water most of the day, which sounded wildly, so a combination of the two things made one could not relax in the head.
The room was very small, otherwise in ok condition, we missed a table you could sit by inside. Nice with aircon. Cleaning was at the top every day in the room, great praise to the lady who came to us always with a smile on the lips.
We were not in the common pool but they looked fine.
All inclusive - was very uniform. The food itself was ok, but after 2-3 days one hoped for something else. The beverages at the food were very swinging some days they were almost not mixed up and other days fine, depending on the rest automat you took. The staff was good at cleaning the tables so there was room to sit both outside and inside.
The hotel is located fine if you are good for bens, as it lies up a hill.
There was a large selection in the hotel kiosk, there was everything you could wish for at reasonable prices.

Arrived at the hotel and checked in troublesome- little info and poor service.
The apartments in the old part worn and need upgrade-so especially air conditioning and bathroom. The rooms have nice size for a family of five. Good WIFI throughout the hotel. You also have to pay extra for the safe.
Shower bad and handheld, little pressure in the water. Did not work optimally with stands. This was ⁇ to reception but not handled.
Cleaning in the rooms ok- slightly depending on the tips. Was first washed thoroughly after the first week.
Some friendly staff at the hotel but several sour and many greeted not-so ⁇ in the restaurant.
All inclusive a disaster. The food under any criticism. Even the children's buffet couldn't appeal to the children. Breakfast OK but lunch, dinner and so-called snacks a hassle against the guests and a hassle against that people actually pay for this. They have themed evenings every week- Greek, Cretan, Asian, Italian, Mexican, barbecue and international. It ended up that after four days at the hotel we chose to eat outside the hotel. Much of the food I'm not sure if I would serve my dog once. Pizza in the snack bar holds good standard. They turn off the lights and hang up the locking when the time for meals is over- this is perceived as rude toward the guests. Blocking to mark that it's closed is ok, but to turn off the light? Come on.
Shower, beer, water and wine very poor level- local brands. Recognized brands cost extra. You are not even allowed to bottle water or fill your own bottles in the restaurant. Another little strange thing is that, for example, coffee must be picked up in the buffet restaurant, and that if you want coffee in the pool bar this costs extra.
The pool area is good and there are two relatively large pools for youth and adults, a children's pool with water slides for children up to twelve years old and two small plaster pools for the slightly smaller children. Bathmate at work very dedicated and skilled in his job.
And then on to the "baby club" - the so-called.. I don't know exactly what to say.. this was a very disappointing and bad experience. Unengaged employees who on several occasions gathered at the playground with closed doors because they were to have a “meeting”, this was stated on a timed schedule but otherwise happened over the course of the day. Children were then denied entry.
The stay at the hotel has been nice, but there is a lot to put your finger on.. We're probably not going back here unless they remove the all inclusive concept.
Good restaurants nearby fortunately and a 5 min walk to the beaches and bus stop if one wants to travel to Chania or Agia Marina.

We stayed at Sirios village for 10 days from 22nd July 2023 We all had an excellent holiday & agreed it was one of the best all inclusive places we’ve stayed at. There was 11 of us, 2 families, all kids are adults. Our flight was delayed so we didn’t arrive at the hotel until very late evening, our check in was quick & smooth, we were asked if we’d consider a free upgrade for 2 of our rooms into one room for 4 with private pool, my 4 daughters aged 22-27 jumped at this chance & loved their room, one of the newest rooms with full size toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, a shower to die for & even a bottle of wine! The rest of us had standard rooms but they were lovely too. They had a mini fridge, tv, hairdryer & air con, the rooms were cleaned daily & fresh towels provided. The restaurant had plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch & dinner. There was also an outside snack bar that had gyros, pizza, hotdogs, chips, sandwiches & cakes every day. The bar was well stocked & well staffed, three different self serve cocktails every day, you could help yourself to soft drinks & wine or the staff will serve spirits & beer for you. Ice cream was available for 2 hours twice a day, this did get quite busy. People did reserve sun beds with their towels but I think this was to get somewhere with shade as there was always spare sunbeds around, I think maybe the parasols need changing to bigger ones to help get more shade from the extreme temperatures. A few more “comfy” chairs around the bar area for the evening would be good. The entertainment in the evening was good, something for everyone. My daughters really wanted to have some treatments in the “spa” unfortunately the “spa” was two white gazebos just down from the children’s pool, they didn’t imagine they’d be very relaxing, quiet or cool considering so they didn’t use them which was a shame as it was something they’d looked forward to. You can catch the no. 22 bus to Chania from the bottom of the hill by the BMW garage, €1.10 one way, if you get the no.15 back again it drops you off up the hill about 200yds from the hotel, worth remembering so you can avoid the uphill walk in the heat! The old town & the harbour are beautiful. We did go out for dinner a few times to some local tavernas, they were wonderful & friendly & so cheap! All in all we had a fantastic holiday & wouldn’t hesitate to return again.

It was the first time we tried all inclusive. We were surprised that it was so good in all areas. The food was of high quality, with themes for every evening, such as Asian, Cretan, Italian and more Drinks are a little less quality, but good. The local beer was very cold and good. We stayed in superior rooms, and were very pleased with cleaning, every day and got new towels different every day. Easy to get sunbeds, around the pool daily. The snacks kiosk was open from 10:00 where you could get sandwiches, gyros, popcorn, softis and more We took a taxi to the harbour of Chania and cost 12 euros (4 km from the hotel) There was a show every night except Wednesday.
Thank you to eminente Nikos, who is good at service
Thanks to the kitchen staff and good waiters Very unusual not to pay for what you drink and eat, as it is paid in advance. At the same time, it was important to give tips for cleaning and restaurant. We were a couple who traveled, and it dates to repeat - RECOMMENDED!!

Visited with family for 1 week. Nice clean hotel which looks good. Had the family suite for 4 of us. Room was cleaned daily by a lovely lady who would arrange my kids cuddly toys on the bed in a cute display which my kids loved. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly with any questions. Lots of food choice in the restaurant. You will not go hungry. Typical all inclusive. Food is mainly catered towards the Germans I felt. My kids are fussy eaters. They could have tried more things rather than pizza but enjoyed the deserts. Good pools which my kids really loved. Mainly young families at the hotel and nice & quite which suited us. Kids went to kids club a couple of times which they enjoyed as the girls who ran it were just lovely. They gave a lot of time and affection to my 2 Kids aged 9 & 6. Enjoyed my stay cannot complain. Beautiful country and lovely people.

This is a really good hotel for families! There are several pools with different depths and several slides. You don't have to worry about not finding sunbeds as there are many.
The All Inclusive food is good and varied. Different themes on the food every day. There is also an outdoor kitchen where they bake pancakes in the morning and one or more dishes for lunch/evening. Fresh gyros, pizza, etc. There are several different types of drinks to choose from and a large selection of melon and pastries for dessert.
The room/apartment was well cleaned every day and a good size (family room). ´
The store had many bath items (towels, bath balls, floating toys, etc.). Also many different kinds of sweets and drinks (some things that we from the Nordics recognize such as Haribo and Milka). Then there was jewelry, bags, clothes, etc. as well.
The staff were pleasant both at the reception and in the dining room. One day our son dropped a plate on the floor and they (Andreas and someone else) came quickly and said it's no danger and checked with our son how he was and joked with him so he was in a better mood. Great treatment, then!
There were shows every night suitable for the whole family. The clown show and the magician show were absolutely the best!
One day we went into Chania and went out by boat to the islands of Theodorou and Lazareta together with Captain Nestor. It was a fantastic trip where we got to swim in the sea directly from the boat and look at a crashed aircraft from the Second World War through the glass bottom of the boat. That tour can be recommended!
The only minus we found at the hotel was that the pools were a bit cold. They are not heated but are heated by the sun. So it was a perfectly fine temperature in the afternoon, but in the morning it was a bit cold. The temperature in the pools was between 20-25 degrees during the day I would guess (in the middle/end of May).

Spent a week at Sirios Village with friends and what a fabulous time we had! Check in was smooth and informative. A member of staff was on hand to take us to our room and help with luggage which was really appreciated. Room was basic but had everything we needed, only thing missing was a full length mirror. Our air conditioning wasn't working when we arrived but after a call to reception, someone came along and fixed it very quickly. Some of the buildings looked like they had a recent refurb which was nice to see, ours wasn't one of them but we don't spend much time in the room anyway. The grounds were very pretty and well maintained. The pool and surrounding area was also cleaned at the end of each day which is why it closes at 6pm.
It was very busy with families and lots of children, not many british people so assume it must have been a school holiday time for another country. There are 3 pools, 1 with slides etc for children so my only criticism would be that it would be nice for 1 of the pools to be allocated for adults only. Children were spread across all 3 pools and as much as I appreciate they are on holiday too, many of them had little regard for people around them when jumping in the pool and running around etc. No issues getting a lounger and didn't seem to have that morning rush you get at some hotels.
Food was very good, lots of choice and a different theme most evenings. It's standard all inclusive food tbh and as this was a very reasonably priced holiday you get what you pay for. Drinks were ok, beer was decent and the red wine in the restaurant was drinkable. We paid for a cocktail on one of the days and it came with very elaborate decorations which made us giggle. The onsite shop was very well stocked with pretty much anything you might need within reason.
Evening entertainment was lacking but tacky entertainment isn't really my bag anyway. Nice atmosphere around the pool bar on the evenings with some nice comfy seating too.
Sirios Village is in a great location. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the back entrance of the hotel and down the hill. We used the Blue Sea Beach Bar on 2 days, 13€ for 3 loungers, umbrella and table all day. We ate lunch there on both days too which was delicious. The beach itself is lovely, the sea is rocky in places so sea shoes are recommended. It's a lovely walk along the beach too and at the far right end there is a church and spectacular views of the bays. We decided to have a couple of evenings in Chania and it was so charming but very busy. From the hotel you can catch the number 21 bus from the bottom of the hill, takes around 20 minutes to Chania. Bus tickets can be purchased from the shop by the bus stop.
Staff were always friendly and helpful. The ladies on reception were very informative regarding the local area and available excursions. We also used the gym one of the mornings which was adequate but could do with some upgrades.
All in all we had a fabulous time and I would return to this hotel.

We had a super good holiday at Sirios Village! :) Arrived late on Friday evening and there was water & sandwiches in the fridge ready for us. The food was nice and the kids ate most of it. Somewhat regrettable quality of soda in All Inclusive, so we also bought real soda in Minimarked. We stayed in a Superior Double Room and it worked, but next time we will try something bigger. We will definitely come again - nice pool area and the kids played well in the pool! Sweet & friendly staff in the Reception & restaurant and the sweet ladies who cleaned our rooms always made sure to do a little extra. :) It was super nice!
