Really enjoyed our stay at Tranna Hill. Rooms were immaculate, beds comfortable and the views are beautiful. We stayed in the family room, with a double and a single bed, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers, toiletries, even electric blankets if we desired. Breakfast was great, couldn't fault a thing! Would recommend highly too one and all

Stone house, set above road level with an elevated garden catching the afternoon sun and where I sat enjoying a mug of tea, having walked over the Howgills from Dent. I had let myself in, Brenda having liaised with me beforehand about the location of the key. I had a front-facing room (the Smardale Room) with good views of the...

Had an overnight stay here on a family trip to the Lakes, turns out it's quite a distance to the Lakes but that was our fault not the B&B's! Brenda the landlady greeted us and showed us to our rooms and the amenities, pointed us in the right direction for a lovely pub dinner at the Black Swan in Ravenstonedale,...

This is a B&B in a rural area. The rooms are all upstairs; the one we had was a bit small but worked well enough for one night with 2 adults and a 4 year old. It appeared clean and was nicely decorated. The owner (?) was very helpful with getting us dinner reservations and recommendations about about what to...

Had a lovely stay here. Brenda booked us in at the black swan for an evening meal. She couldn't have picked a nicer place for us. Taxi's are the only downfall in this area, we finally found one which turned out perfect. Look up Prima taxi's lovely guy and reasonable price Thanks Brenda for a lovely sleep and perfect breakfast...
