Great little find thanks to a friend's recommendation. The host could not have been more accommodating. Lovely surprise for the children too. Great to find a family room for 5. Very comfortable and plentiful, tasty breakfast. Many thanks

We booked Le Clos Poli as a place to stop on our return to the Uk driving north from the Alps. While we had been away we had maintained an email contact to make sure everything was ready for us. So although we didn't know the area we were assured there would be a place to eat nearby (which was... More

Calm, spacious and a perfect stop off en route south. This is our 4th stay and we are planning our next. Ticks all the boxes and Lydie goes the extra mile. Here is a view from our room of the garden. Spacious rooms that can sleep 4 adults comfortably plus cots. En suites are large. Breakfast perfect with the best... More

Le clos poli is a beautiful place. Lydie welcomed us in a really friendly way.She offered us a cold drink after our journey. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee making was available in the room with a really wide choice of teas and herbal drinks too. Breakfast was fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, croissants, homemade jams and... More

Lydie is a lovely hostess who makes you so welcome. The rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. We had an evening meal cooked by Lydie and it was superb. Clos Poli is situated in a pleasant village just south of Troyes just off a major route. The area is picturesque with plenty of places to visit.... More

We drive from our house in the UK to and from a flat in the French Alps. Stopping here breaks the journey nicely. Madame Poli looks after us very well and, yes, she does speak enough English if required to help out when our French fails us. We book an evening meal as we have had enough driving by the... More

Lydie the owner of Le Clos Poli is a really lovely lady. She genuinely aims to please and was very welcoming. Le Clos Poli was warm, cosy, comfortable and clean. Our evening meal and breakfasts were both very tasty. We had a very enjoyable stay and would like to visit again… The Macdonald family.

We booked this hotel as it was on route to the Alps for our main holiday ski-ing, and I saw the trip advisor reviews that were very high and I wasn't disappointed. The place was beautiful and very clean and Lydie the owner couldn't do enough for us. She booked us a meal at Chez Gibus in the evening, where... More

They couldn't have been friendlier here - even giving us ingredients for a meal when we arrived late - delicious home made tomato sauce on the house. Charming, clean and tranquil - I'd stay here again. Kids loved the dog after we asked to meet him. All incredibly good value.

Once again Lydie was a wonderful hostess and the room (Foret d'orient) was spotless and extremely comfortable for the 5 of us. This is such a gem, in beautiful surroundings. We will be booking again for our journey south in the summer. Also, my daughter left her teddy behind and Lydie posted it back to the Uk swiftly without problem.... More
