What a wonderful way to kick off our wedding celebrations! A group of 18 of us gathered here the day before our wedding as we were getting married locally and the service and food couldn't have been better. We had a set menu that our guests ordered in advance and it lived up to all our expectations. Victoria and all...

A perfect evening. Beautifully presented and great tasting food. The staff are warm, welcoming and attentive with great knowledge of local produce. Nothing seemed to much trouble and we were even offered the details of the suppliers they use for their wines so we could stock up ourselves for Christmas. The setting itself is lovely with a comforting open fire...

I stayed here on a business trip. Small but lovely hotel Very attentive and friendly staff - nothing is too much trouble. I dined alone in the restaurant and the food was outstanding. The room was immaculate and tastefully furnished. I shall be back

This was my second stay at the Lake Isle Hotel as part of a family group. We knew what to expect and again we were not disappointed, in fact the bar was raised higher. This time we had a private dining room to ourselves which just made the evening that bit more special. The quality of the food and service...

A friend book this place so we could go somewhere different for a birthday celebration. Never heard of the place or hotel but thought why not. The staff were extremely friendly upon arrival and the whole hotel was immaculate. Cannot fault the level of cleanliness. We were in the Champagne Room with the Whirlpool and the room was beautiful. So...

We had been recommended to stay at The Lake Isle so looked forward to our night away. From the moment we walked through the door we felt relaxed. Staff were welcoming and the open fire and comfortable seating created the perfect atmosphere. The room was excellent with a huge bathroom, whirlpool bath and powerful shower. We had booked a dinner,...

A warm welcome - a comfortable room with everything we needed. And then came Dinner which was just amazing. Full marks to the chef for a super meal. Full marks to the hotel staff who were welcoming, friendly and very efficient. To top it all, breakfast the next morning was superb: home made muesli, the freshest of eggs and bacon....

Stayed here for my birthday treat. Stayed in the cottage which was a delight. I could have stayed all week! Our dinner was equally delightful with fabulous service who cared if you enjoyed the food or not. Would love to stay again.

Took over the whole hotel and restaurant for a special birthday celebration a couple of weeks ago and it was the best night ever. From the day we first booked to the day itself the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed/eaten there many times over the years and this night did not disappoint....

We have often thought about trying this Restaurant so this was it!, The Restaurant was empty when we arrived but found two guests having a pre dinner drink in a rather nice lounge area. Sadly the open fire wasn't lit which would have lent a nice cosy atmosphere. The service was exemplary throughout, that may have been because there were...
