The room was smallish but well appointed. The outstanding feature (apart from the excellent food) was the service provided by Fabrice one could not find a better host anywhere. Dinner was excellent but we were somewhat dissappointed on going down to breakfast with so little on the buffet but we needn't have worried Fabrice arrived and just kept comming back... More

We booked a particularly quiet room some weeks in advance that we were advised to be available for which we received written confirmation. On our arrival we were informed that that room was occupied by a guest who had booked subsequently and was staying for more than the one night. We would have to accept an alternative choice. The result... More

Booked this as a convenient stopover prior to catching the Le Havre ferry. Cormeilles is a pleasant Normandy town with a number of historic houses and other buildings that bustles with life during the day but is somewhat sleepy in the evening. The hotel itself was just right - a quiet comfortable bedroom, well fitted out and decorated, helpful reception... More

The room was in a more modern extension to the characterful restaurant and whilst fairly compact was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The restaurant was charming and the food excellent; quite a change from that increasingly experienced throughout France. Secure parking was also a 'plus' given the frequency of car break in's that we have sadly endured. The proprietors were... More

Surprisingly this is the only hotel in Cormeilles, a town full of character. Despite the lack of competition, the hotel offers excellent value and a proprietor who is very keen to please. I stayed in Room 9, one of three rooms on the first floor balcony. Decor is a 'mélange' of exposed beams & sturdy Norman structure, together with calming... More

The Hotel Room itself was absolutely fine, if a little small. Bathroom fine and all kept very clean. In this respect, I was very happy. However, like many hotels, they give you too few towels and you have to ask for more. The service, in my view, was very good: quick, friendly and multi-lingual. However, my travelling companion thought that... More

This was a stopover on the way to the Tunnel: we had a room on the top floor, which was fine for us as it was quiet. The comments below about rooms with only internal windows onto a corridor seem justified with regard to rooms we walked past on the floor below. Our room was furnished in a rather elaborate... More

The Restaurant was lovely and the food good. Breakfast was excellent too. Rooms were typical Logis, a bit dated but I don't mind that. What was a bit off putting was the service in the restaurant. Madame was unfriendly to the point of surliness and earlier we heard a lot of banging and clanging coming from the kitchen. My partner... More

This hotel looks very nice and is well situated in Normandy. However, our stay was not one we will be repeating. We stopped here for a night in August. Our room, a double was fine, though it looked a little like a furniture showroom. We had trouble moving around with it all the extra chairs and tables in there. Our... More

There's nothing flashy about this hotel. It just provides what one needs when on the road: a room for the night at a reasonable (though not cheap) rate, a good evening meal at the restaurant on site, and a generous breakfast in the morning. I asked for a quiet room and got one, which doesn't always happen. Although it's clear... More
