One of my all time favourite stop overs when on business. It's streets ahead of all the chains. Comfortable rooms, great food and hospitality. 'Home from home.' The pub is traditional, cosy and friendly and I like it best in the Winter with its log burners and sings songs.

A friendly welcome started a great experience at the Half Moon Inn. The drinks were excellent value, as was the carver Sunday Lunch. There were a choice of three meats and a wide range of perfectly cooked vegetables. Highlight, though, for me was the sticky toffee pudding: it was perfect.

The 'no frills' rooms have comfortable beds and plenty of tea and coffee with fresh milk. The breakfast is tasty. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and a great selection of gins and ciders. Set in a beautiful, quiet village this is a good base to explore this lovely part of Somerset.

Warm welcome despite arriving on Sunday when this inn is closed so we had to go elsewhere for dinner. Room a little tired and mattress did not seem to be very good quality but OK. Breakfast was basic but very good, especially the local butcher's sausages. Pleasant rural location away from main road. I'd like to go back when it's...

Stayed one night. Very comfortable rooms - small but perfectly adequate being well equipped and spotlessly clean. Quiet rural location with very welcoming hosts providing a winning combination of good selection of real ales and home cooked food representing great value.

My friends and I had three of the rooms in their grounds all with ensuite facilities. They all had TV, hairdriers and tea-making facilities. We ate in the bar both nights and were not disappointed either night. The landlord went the extra mile by preparing us a cooked breakfast on the Saturday morning even though we left early, in order...

All that you would expect from a stay at a Good Old English Pub, set in a rural village. Good evening meal and breakfast. Staff were friendly, room clean and comfortable. Pleasant garden, lots of bird song and no traffic to disturb your sleep.
