This typical Alsace stuffed hotel gives customers a warm welcome. The silence in the room invites for a comfortable sleep. Surrounded by wine yards on a small hill. Good choice for the Christmas period to visit all the Christmas markets in the surroundings.

Been here twice: dec 2013 and dec 2015. We were curious how the Alsace would look like in Christmas atmosphere en found this hotel on Booking.com. 1st time we stayed in a large room with stunning view and a terrace. 2nd time we had a very small room in a seperate building. With no view. Both times the rooms were...

The Inn keepers speak very little English, but no worries - they're a lovely couple who welcome you to their Inn and serve a nice Continental breakfast in the morning. The hotel (really an Inn) is located in several buildings in the small hilltop village of Zellenberg. There are very few residents in this town, mostly rental properties and Le...

Family of 2 adults and 3 young kids stayed here for 3 nights between Christmas and New year. The hotel is across the road from the restaurant. Not ideal as there is no real bar in which to have a chilled out drink in the evenings (it was very cold when we were there). We had a suite with 2...

We stayed at Le Sclossberg for two nights, from 22-24 July 2014. The village of Zellenberg is very quiet, and absolutely beautiful. The restaurant is on one side of the street and the accommodation on the other. Parking is either at the church carpark at the bottom of the village, or in a car park just above the hotel. We...

Zellenberg is not one of the major towns on the Alsace wine route but it is still cute and just off the road a bit. The Hotel Schlossberg is divided in two buildings on each side of a small street. Hotel is on one side and the restaurant on the other. Our room was quite small with a teeny shower,...

This hotel is situated in Alsace not far from the beaten track. We found the hotel very cosy with interior and exterior in the old style. The room was OK as was the bed. The breakfast was better than normal in France and not very expensive. We will probably be back there.

Although we enjoyed staying here, I could not help but feel that the hotel failed to offer adequate value for money. The staff were very polite and very helpful and the room was nice. Yet neither the room nor the breakfast were truly worth the price, which left me feeling slightly disappointed. The meals were adequate and tasty enough, yet...

My mother and I ordered each filet de sandre. The plate was 27 Euros and consisted of 1 small piece of fish, 1 tiny broccoli, 1 grape tomato, 1 small potato? cannot recall exactly what it was. After finishing our meal we were still hungry. My cousin and her husband ordered backaofa which was more copious so we ended up...
