The Landgasthof Deutsches Haus is a real authentic German experience. The staff wears the traditional clothing (trachten) and is very friendly. Rooms are clean and very spacious and more than reasonably priced. Breakfast is excellent with a large variety of options to choose from and the restaurant in the evening was very well also. We will be back for sure!

We stay here journeying through Germany. Set in a quiet area but very popular with locals attesting to the quality of the food and service. Very large, clean rooms with modern amenities. Very good breakfast.

It's on top of a hill way out in the country, but this is a top-notch Landgasthof style hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was large and comfortable, along with the bathroom. Everything was clean and nicely appointed, with a writing table and a second table. The windows have Rollanden blinds to block out the light. My room... More

A group of us used the hotel as a stop-over during a motorcycling tour of Europe. A great location on the mountain with great views across the valley. First impressions were great, a large parking area and a great looking hotel. The reception was in the middle of the restaurant, which was a little strange as we had to stand... More

To start, our GPS would not take the address of the hotel & getting to the actual location was anything but easy. Upon arrival, we could finally relax because driving a standard car up this steep mountain with hairpin turns was stressful. The view from the top was gorgeous but I had no clue where to check in for the... More

My arrival at the Hotel started quite bumpy. The navigation system just did not want to find the address. So finally I took Google.com but even Google does not know the given address. After a while I found out that the "Weilheim" town is wrong in the address.. it is actually Gruebingen. Et voila... the navigation works. The address problem... More

After a long day travelling on the motorways of Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany we were lucky enough to stop at the Deutsches Haus. Our room was large and comfortable, the beer was good and we had a splendid meal in a very busy dining room full of people enjoying their evening. The typical German breakfast then set us up ready... This is a lovely guesthouse...with comfortable appointments, good food and beautiful surroundings. There are picnic tables out front from which to survey the surrounding hills, and hiking trails abound. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Our room had views of the three kings hills in the distance and the air was fresh and clean. We were there for... More

Ooops I am nasty: this will be the worst review until then. The hotel is the pure example of swabian professionalism: it makes great cars, great machining tools, successful companies and ... forgetable hotel experience. Actually there are very few negative points... I could think of one: the near presence of the motorway which is noisy in case of you... More

Whilst only a stone's throw from the highway and accessed by a strangely secret motorway exit, this guesthouse felt like a million miles from the modern world. A warm welcome awaited us in the extremely attractive bar/restaurant. Never say no to a free beer. Our room was large and comfortable but we were happy to install ourselves at a table... More
