What a place Cambodia is in general. This little gem really is in the middle of no where. We arrived by motorcycle as we are travelling from Phom Penh to Vietnam to Laos to Siem Reap on as little roads as possible. This was one of our sleep over spots. Extremely pleasant staff and proud owner. The restaurant is open...

Came here with a group on a trip through Cambodia - The Terres Rouges lodge was a very cute boutique hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. The open air restaurant on the second floor of the main building was very relaxing and hosted us for a number of nights. Khmer food was very good, and also had a selection...

Terres Rouge is a wonderful little escape from the main city. Down by the central lake it is located among some scenic gardens and surrounded by tall walls. The main building and villas are French colonial buildings that have been converted and the pool is set among the villas and gardens. The rooms are great value in Ratanakiri and the...

We stayed in another place but visited Terres for a coffee (1.5$). It's amazing place in the middle of nowhere and the service is very good. Expect higher prices for this too. It's the only option restaurant if you come to the city late night, closing at 10pm.

We had difficulty emailing the hotel to book so we rang and Mr Sokum the GM, arranged everything for us, the transport from Stung Treung and from Banlung back to Phnom Penh too. We were in the original Governor's bungalow, and it was really beautiful with wooden floors and furniture to match the epoch. We ate in the restaurant everyday...

Terre Rouge is the place to stay in Ban Lung. The lodge is one of the most beautiful in Cambodia. Staff is nice and eager to assist you. The food is good and the prices low. The atmosphere is great and the environment beautiful with a garden full of birds. We fully enjoyed our stay here and will come back.

Beautiful rooms, beautiful gardens, great food in the restaurant and excellent customer service. We negotiated directly with the hotel and got a brilliant price for a deluxe suite. The manager and staff were very professional and all were fluent in English. It's low season and we were spoiled. The manager arranged short day trips for us to with English speaking...

The GM welcomed my party upon our arrival at 12:30 in the afternoon; he was also there three days later at 6:00 a.m. to bid us good-bye. The entire staff at the Lodge is attentive and efficient. When the air-conditioning in one of our rooms stopped working, it was quickly repaired. When I reported ants in the bathroom, they were...

The grounds and buildings are lovely - it feels like an old colonial lodge and there are fascinating decorative bits and old furniture. The rooms were large and graciously appointed, air conditioning and fans worked well, but not in perfect condition and not totally insect proof. Old world charm. I was upgraded on my last night to a superior room...
