A short climb up from the main market square, this bungalow offers up one of the best views in the surreal town of Kalpa. Totaram-ji was extremely friendly & helpful. Note: they don't serve food here.

I backpacked across kinnaur, spiti, ladakh and Kashmir at a very laid back pace. Over three months of travelling in all these places with public transport and then ending up at different sorts of accommodation. Chini Bungalow was by far the most pleasant of stops. Loved spending time here. This is actually the residence of the owner of Kinnaur Villa. It has a beautiful view of the entire Kalpa village below it with the Kinnaur Kailash rising in front. Ask for the Deluxe Rooms if you want the balcony and a better view. No food/beverages are available here. But the market is only a short...

The hotel is located very near to the bus stop, only difficulty was climbing some 30 odd steps to reach the hotel with the luggage, but that difficulty will just ease out once you get an awesome view of Kinnaur Kailash from the gallery outside your rooms which looks even more beautiful at sunset.
