Came here for my sons open water qualifying dives with a group of friends. We had excellent tuition and guidance from Arnel and his dive masters and boat boys, thoroughly recommend coming here. Resort is well run, v clean and tidy and the food is pretty good. Snacks from 2-5pm helped the hunger - and went well with the pool...

I visited Portulano with diver friends 3 years ago, though I didn't dive that visit, I just had my whole time R&R at the resort. They have a lot of public area where in you can really enjoy your time alone (see photos attached). At night time the dinner area will be a sort of meeting place where in divers...

We've dived in quite a few places in PH. I found the price/value for this resort to be much too high! But it is friendly and well-run. Rooms with a/c were priced the same as the 5 star hotels executive level rooms in Alabang or Makati that we stayed at... which also included food and free-flow alcohol in evenings. Yet...

While we make every effort for guests to see what kind of resort we are so that expectations are not only met but exceeded, this review only shows me that it is all a matter of knowing what you want and appreciating the difference. A HOTEL in the city and a BOUTIQUE RESORT are 2 very different things. I disagree...

There's is no tv but plenty of hang out area nicely decorated. There is no cabin, wardrobe in the room only shelves. There is no lavish buffet but enough selection and prepared in small quantity , refilled promptly from the semi open kitchen. If you are looking for a simple , down to earth , minimally furnished resort but with...

I've been to the Philippines a number of times over the years but due to work have never been able to get out of Metro Manila. On this occasion, so glad I did. What a wonderful place this is. A couple of hours outside of Manila and a hop of a boat ride and its like being in a different...

A homey kind of feel, I felt like My grandmother was about to call out for me to eat. The place is quaint and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the beds have good mattresses. Our room had a great view of the sea and during this season the crashing of the waves can wake or lull you to...

We've just returned from a three night stay at this resort. It is run by a lovely family and all of their staff are like an extended arm of the family. The resort is about a 2.5 hour transfer away from the airport. The pick up was easy but the weather was bad. We'd been advised if we were later...
