We offer all-inclusive cycling and activity holidays in an outstanding location in the Spanish Pyrenees. Accommodation is in a beautifully restored stone farmhouse in the heart of Vilamitjana, a medieval village two hours from Barcelona. This is real rural Spain, the area is undiscovered by tourists yet to find its snowy peaks, clear mountain lakes, stunning scenery and rich culture.

We have just returned from an amazing family holiday with super welcoming hosts, amazing food and activities at Red Rock Trails. The facilities are perfect with large and modern well appointed rooms. There are numerous other areas in the farmhouse to relax in during the day including games room, patio, sandpit and outdoor games area, making us very relaxed even with current events. The range and quality of food provided by the hosts was exceptional, with all tastes and dietary requirements lovingly cared for by our hosts.

We primarily went for the cycling and we enjoyed all types including road and mountain biking at increasingly challenging levels, but also enjoyed some nice family rides with our small children (they have lots of well maintained bikes and equipment for all levels including kids).

On top of this there are loads of excellent and exciting none bike outdoor activities (the Regan's are very knowledgeable) and we also got to enjoy Canyoning, lake swims, Winery visits and unspoilt local waterfalls!

So much to see and do for all the family, we will definitely be back!

The best all inclusive holiday ever. Wonderful accommodation set in a small village surrounded by the most fantastic scenery, mountains, lakes etc. We were able to cycle (bikes and helmets provided free of charge) on quiet roads, or mountain and valley trails, swim in the picturesque lakes and if we had had more time many other activities were available.
The rooms, with en suite facilities were lovely and the food (beer and wine included) provided by our hosts ( Heather and Chris) was all home cooked (especially the pizzas cooked in the wood fired pizza oven which they built themselves) was the best ever.
Whether you are a keen cyclist, triathlete, bird watcher, rock climber or rambler, you will not find a better holiday location and if you are a family, the children are well catered for and can enjoy a wide variety of games and activities as well as the company of two delightful children Dan and Iona, who will help their parents make this an enjoyable experience for the whole family.

we wanted something to keep us and the kids entertained so liked the look of this. we're not proper mountain bikers but chris was a reassuring instructor and made sure we got out each day to experience some local trails suitable for us. the surrounding area is really peaceful and there looks to be loads of things to explore. food was fantastic and they are great hosts.

Visited as a couple and had an amazing time. The accomodation is comfortable, the food amazing and the surrounding area stunningly beautiful.

Our hosts were absolutely amazing and really went out on a limb to show us the area.

Would highly reccomend a stay with Heather and Chris if you need time out and love the outdoors. They made us feel like we were visiting old friends (that you like).

Best holiday in Spain we´ve had in our 2,5 years of living in Madrid! The picturesque region, the range of outdoor activities, the easy-going hosts, the ample & delicious food – this was just an all-round great package for a family that wanted to be active in the Spanish countryside without being nutso about it. Exercise in the morning, wonderful waterhole visits in the afternoons – perfect way to deal with the superb August weather here (disclaimer: we are Australians). There was even a splendid 10 minutes of rain – how ‘bout that petrichor! Chris was an excellent mountain biking instructor for 3 cautious kids (and their risk-averse mum), and his two outstanding assistants were patient, capable and the polar opposite of showdoggy – yep, we are now MB converts. Thanks heaps for the fun times!

I stayed last summer with my two children (12 and 9) and had an amazing time. The area is beautiful with so many activities on offer. We had a different adventure every day. The accommodation was beautiful- comfortable, clean and fresh. Heather, Chris, Dan and Iona were fantastic hosts and couldn't have done more for us. The food was all home cooked and delicious- lots of it too. We'll definitely be back soon.

Fantastic place, fantastic food, fantastic people. Only stayed for a short time, but enjoyed every moment we were there, Heather and Chris could not have done more for us. The surrounding area and countryside is stunning, this is a great place to go to avoid the usual tourist traps and do something a bit special.

We have just returned from a week at Red Rock Trails with our two children aged 6 and 3. All of us have had an absolutely fantastic time and were very sad to leave. The accommodation was ideal for the 4 of us - lovely and clean and bright, with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The outdoor and indoor spaces were perfect for our children to play safely in, and there was a range of excursions for all ages to choose from in the area, which our hosts, Chris and Heather, were extremely knowledgeable about. The food was excellent - all homemade and plenty of it, and there was always plenty to drink and snacks (from fresh fruit to homemade cake) to help ourselves to between meals. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris and Heather and their lovely children - they helped us arrange various trips out and about, were happy to help our 6 year old gain real confidence on her bike and to take her out on it, and they always ensured that we had everything we needed, whether home or put cake about. All in all, a busy but ultimately very relaxing holiday that my family would happily repeat. We will definitely return and would recommend Red Rock Trails to anyone. Thank you so much to Chris, Heather, Dan and Iona

The Regans were fantastic Hosts, Heather kept delivering deliscious meals, fantastic snacks, cakes and Tapas,
Chris had a whole selection of good day trips to do with the kids from bike rides, lake swims. gorge walks to dinosaur foot print trails,
Their Children kept ours entertained. with table football in the games room.
We even managed a wine tasting trip, and the early birds got in some fantastic single-track rides before breakfast,
The location is ideal for a day trip to the Haute-Pyrenees, where we enjoyed a high ropes course, and also not far from world class Paragliding
We all definately want to come again!

Our group of 10, ranging from 4 - 40 had an amazing time at Red Rock Trails. Weather was lush and the area had so many beautiful spots to explore and enjoy. Really friendly welcome and delicious home cooked food, great local knowledge/guiding/activity planning and brilliant value for money. Would highly recommend!
