Stayed here for 5 nights as part of a multicentre package in Jan 2020. Location is great with a beautiful bay and beach and beach restaurants and shops as an alternative to the hotel. Room was spacious, well equipped and had a nice garden sea view. Super sized TV and amazing bed were highlights. Breakfast was a tad over whelming with too much choice. The hotel has a hidden jacuzzi steambath and sauna and gym which you must seek out. Laundry service was cheap, fast and everything came back like new and beautifully packaged. Food over all was very high quality and not too pricey. Pool was stunning, unusual design with swim up bar (ditch the turtle bar stools). There is so much to do at the hotel it's easily going to take up azweek of your time. There is pool, pool bar, ice cream parlour, three eateries, 2 bars, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, shops, water sports, business centre, bean bags, water slide, day beds, sun beds, lovely gardens, beach side romantic meal service, A very well priced spa and massage facility topped it all off. Best bit is the staff, without exception, welcoming, friendly, helpful and made a 4 star hotel 5 star in my opinion. Could not fault, will go back. Best located luxury hotel in Lombok. Final tip, negotiate with hotel staff, we got a car with driver for the day and went out round the island seeing rice fields, volcanoes, markets, waterfalls etc £75 all in including generous tip.

When I had to travel out from Lombok, I arranged my family, my wife and three too actively kids, to stay at Sheraton Senggigi. They got a Suite from a normal room booking, may be of our luck or the hotel was in not too busy due to pandemic. We got a surprisingly nice welcoming setup for my three kids and for my wife, there were even a Selamat Datang writing made nicely from tree branches / twigs, and even some signatures from the team !!! They placed our family's printed picture and it was just made my family day more enjoyable. My kids were reported never wanted to leave its swimming pool, its sliding that made them so fun in the huge pool. The pool was located near its sandy beach so then it was a complete play for my kids. To local guests like us we must selected menus carefully, when we wanted to eat, merely the prices are really fit to five stars hotel whilst our wallet might be a bit more economic hahaha, anyway my wife treated my kids nicely. To have this kind of services and surprises during the pandemic, is somewhat rare to be found, thus I thank you so much for the Team, we could feel your warmth welcome from top to bottom. All the best guys !

We really enjoyed staying at the Sheraton. The situation of the hotel is perfect with gardens and a wonderful beach. My wife enjoys swimming and found the pool enjoyable. Comment has been made that the rooms are a bit dated which may be true but they are pleasant enough and furnished in a traditional style which we like.
The gardens and pool are really well kept. If a leaf dares to fall there is a gardener there sweeping it up!
The breakfasts are amazing with a huge variety of choice. Probably the best I have ever seen in a hotel. The hotel restaurant is good but if you tire of it there are others a short walk down the beach.
A mention has to be made of the staff who are to a man and woman all really pleasant and helpful.

Wonderfull beach resort to chill and relax. you can just sit the whole day at one of their multiple beach shacks and watch the ocean!

The rooms are old but well maintained with a good balcony
Pool is very nice with a bar options and good happy hours:)

The breakfast options are amazing, even for vegetarian people and the staff makes every effort to get things for you.

There are good enough options to eat nearby hotel not that resort food is any bad.

PS - do remember to make use of their jacuzi and sauna facility which helps you wind down after a swim in the ocean and pool through the day ;)

Just leaving after 5 nights can’t fault the place, only reason I’ve given 4 instead of 5 is some things like shower are a little dated. Staff are very attentive and friendly, breakfast plenty of choice even for vegetarians like us,only eaten at poolside bar but good food and reasonably priced. The beach is really good for snorkelling with a good few turtles about wife even saw a baby Shark. All in all very good and would definitely return

Stayed at The Shereton over Christmas and New Year 2019/20. This is NEVER a five star Hotel, three star at the very best. The rooms are generally clean and tidy but dated and in urgent need of a revamp. The shower we had took ages to drain the toilet did not flush correctly. This was a fault elsewhere in the Hotel not just out room. The grounds are nice, the pool is good, the private beach has problems however. Garbage washes up and the beach sellers are a real pain. Security need to do more to stop the constant hassle. The bars and restuarants within the complex are very expensive with a Government tax and a Service Charge tip added to everything. For exapmple a Gin and Tonic will cost you 170,000 in the Hotel, 7500 elsewhere. The front of house staff are friendly and smiling most of the time but very few speak English. When your coffee order is 40 mins late and you enquire a smile and a nod is not what you need, you need you coffee asap not another 15minute wait and then the order is wrong. At breakfast this happened on several occasion, not a one off. Beware also of those trting to sell you trips. Everyone is trying to rip off the tourists. Quoted 4.2 million for a snorkel trip that was 800,000 to 1.2 million normally. The 4.5 million for a New Year Eves meal was very high especially as the Hotel wanted another 2 million to secure a spot to watch the fireworks.Outside the hotel the Government tax is certainly not spent on cleaning up the garbage in gutters and streams. This Island neads tourism, tourists need to be treated fairly not ripped off at every opportunity.

About 1.5 hours from the airport, have to wait for about 30 minutes for the room to be ready. Room itself looks old and tired but good size and comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is the pool, the water temperature just perfect, makes you want to stay in the pool for a long time. The beach itself is quiet and nice too. Food in this hotel is ok but expensive. We also ate in restaurant surrounding the hotel, the price is very high compared to the south lombok area. Overall very nice 3 nights stay and will come back for the pool.

Our stay was part of a 3 centre booked through TUI and fell way short of our expectations!
The best thing about this hotel is the staff!
First impressions weren’t great as they had cruise ship passengers in which meant there weren’t any sunbeds available and we couldn’t get served in the restaurant!
We were allocated a garden view room which was very tired - the bathroom and shower in particular was nowhere near the 4* standard! The whole room just seemed run down. We moved to a different room which was slightly better, but the fridge didn’t work and sink didn’t drain!
The pool area is also tired with missing tiles (which my husband cut his foot on!) - wasn’t recently missing either as it was covered in moss!
Breakfast wasn’t great in our opinion. Took ages to get a coffee and the whole set up was more like a 2* experience with limited options and things ran out very quickly! Please offer more alternative milks!
The location on Senggigi beach was lovely and we enjoyed walking out to the local beach restaurants and watching the sunset.
Thank you to Asri who tried to help solve the problems! Also Dharma in the restaurant and the pool/ beach guy who were very friendly!

Dear lettgang, Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to share your review. We’re very happy to welcome all of our guests anytime to Senggigi, yet we’re sorry for the inconvenience you experienced, especially this time when the function just coincided with your stay. It’s correct that our hotel is old, but we have received a majority of positive feedbacks on our good maintenance to have the current condition. We regret to know of your experience and apologize if we missed the mark here. We appreciate your feedback about the breakfast and regret that it didn’t meet your expectations. We’d love to learn more about your expectations, so it’d be very much appreciated if you could reach out to our Food and Beverages Manager at antony.siregar@marriott.com if this is convenient to you. Additionally, we’re happy to read your feedback about our staff. We take a great pride of having them as part of our family, and are glad that you’re able to enjoy the warmth of their service. Once again, thank you again for staying with us and writing this review. Best regards, I Made Bintara Sunetra Room Division Manager

We had a decent enough short 3 night stay at Sheraton. If you can afford to spend more, you will probably find much nicer hotels on the island.

Staff here are very very kind, the pool and beach feel very private and were generally pleasant (minus what looked like bird poop in the tiles in some parts of the pool). The drinks were good and we had a great time at the spa.

All the reviews saying it needs a refurb are very true - in comparison to our hotel before this, it just felt very outdated and unpolished. The shower in particular was like from a cheap gym back home and the shower head itself would never stay in place so you could actually shower properly! We also found it annoying there was no Do Not Disturb sign, and that housekeeping liked to come very early (around 10am ish) which is always just as we were returning to the room from breakfast. There was also a door to a nearby room with a finger written ‘clean me’ sign, that remained there for the duration of our stay

Please know that we have received a majority of positive feedbacks on our good maintenance to have the current condition, despite no renovation in the past 32 years. I stayed for the second time after my first visit a long time ago. The feel was still the same as my first stay and it brings some memories back then. The resort is well-maintained and I was quite surprised that the hotel was busy at that time despite the surrounding was still quiet. The service was awesome and tried the Padang promotion was also not bad. It was unfortunate that we stayed during the rainy season so we couldn't explore more. Breakfast was OK and I understood since I stayed during the pandemic situation they limit the range but were still delicious. I wish I can go back again some time.
