While looking for a hotel at the halfway plus point on our drive back from the Maritimes I came across this hotel on TripAdvisor. We needed a dog friendly hotel and we were very pleased with our choice. We got a ground floor room with 2 queen beds. They had a tile floor and though the decor is dated it...

My room had been recently renovated. The pleasant surprise was the hard-surface floor, it was warm to bare feet and super clean. The room had a very comfortable sofa which was actually a pull-out bed. When I booked, I received an email from Marie-Claude, thanking me for booking and that was a very nice touch and didn't leave me wondering...

What a great place to stop for a night of travelling. The owner was so pleasant and she was full of smiles. Or room had a unique vintage feel and was super clean and bright. My daughters had a lovely bath in the tub with the lavender scented products the motel provided. They said they felt like it was a...

stayed here recently to break up my road trip to P.E.I. When we booked we had requested a crib. When we arrived there was no crib and the room was not made up. contacted the front desk and they advised us that there were no cribs available. They changed our room and gave us two beds. Motel was clean and...

I stayed at Le Martinet twice within the last month. The first time it was for convenience sake and the second was by choice because of my first experience. I was travelling from Nova Scotia to Hamilton,Ontario and this location broke the trip up nicely. The Motel is located just off the highway and their sign is visible from the...

The tourist information building in La Pocatiere suggested this hotel and even called ahead for us. We were able to get the room for $75, plus $5 for breakfast. Good continental type breakfast, Fresh Fruit, Breads, juice, hard boiled eggs, etc. The owner was very nice, and just wanted to practice her English with us. It's located in an industrial...

Pros. Extra clean room and bathroom. Attentive service at the free breakfast. Spacious breakfast area. Free wi-fi with strong signal. Cons. Booked for 3 persons, yet there was only 2 sets of towels until we asked for a third. There are no management after 10:15 pm present on the site.

For a couple, the rate was around $100/night which is reasonable for a small hotel with limited amenities. For a family with two children over the age of 9, the price jumped to $130/night which reduces the price/value ratio. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the hotel & rooms were clean. The location is 2K from the centre...

The room was okay, nothing special. Very expensive only because I had a dog. There was 1 microwave for the whole floor, and it was in the middle of the hall. Plus we found a millipede running across the floor. Unfortunately I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Stayed for 3 night in a room on the lowest floor. The room was very clean and well maintained. The WiFi internet connection was very good, but the continental breakfast a little pedestrian. The sound proofing between rooms on the same floor appears to be good, as we had neighbors with an infant that we could hear crying in the...
