During the Spanish Gliding Championship at nearby Santa Cilia de Jaca airport I stayed ten days at this hotel. All over the world, it was among the best places I ever stayed during a championship. Good safe parking in front of the hotel, quiet and cool at night, cheerful abundant breakfast, all facilities including Internet working flawlessly, owner friendly and...

We had a very enjoyable 2 nights here. A very quiet and pretty village and our room was comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains. I think maybe breakfast needs a bit more thought but otherwise all was lovely. Also the village is home to Restaurant O'Fogaril so that's a bonus.

Overall, a nice place to stay if you are looking to get away from bustling crowds and have a hankering to do some not so challenging hiking. Had bottom floor room with private balcony which can be a little noisy given the wooden floors. But this B & B is unlikely to attract the party hard crowd, so not a...

As its name suggests this B&B is high on a hill above the town square, with nice views from the property, including our small balcony. We were glad to have a second floor room since the wooden floor was creaky. The nicely decorated room provided ample storage space and was comfortable. There was a small table and one chair in...

Really liked it - but an odd evening. Arrived to find the place closed so I called the number in the window and about 3 minutes later a guy arrived to check me in. He was really good - really helpful - but didn't speak any English and I speak no Spanish so we conferred via a translation app on...

This is a lovely inn located in the small town of Santa Cruz, very nearby the monastery of San Juan de la Pena. It is a lovely place to spend a long Spanish summer evening, with the surprisingly good O'Fogaril (run by a couple, Maud and Javier) restaurant a short walk away. The hotel's proprietor is an exceptionally warm man...

We have enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel very much. It is clean, and very well kept in every aspect. The owner is most helpful and kind. I was impressed by the fresh squeezed orange juice that served at the breakfast. The room is comfortable and the bathroom has everything one needs. It is good value for the price....

We stayed here for one night, coming through from France into Spain. This made a perfect over-night stop. It is more a B and B than a hotel, and our room on the top floor had a small terrace with stunning views of the mountains, and we were lulled to sleep by the sound of a rushing stream and bells...

Return trip to el Mirador de Santa Cruz, a year after discovering it, and although we enjoyed our stay, we were less enthusiastic than last time. Small niggles, mainly: the lavatory seat was broken, so sitting on it was a high-risk operation to avoid getting "bitten"; the gardener watering the plants on the terrace above the balcony of our room...

We came upon El Mirador de Santa Cruz travelling from San Sebastian to Barcelona. I was looking for a charmer in a quiet location and happened on this perfect example. We had a beautiful view of the valley and the town. 11th century church just off to the side. The host couldn't be more hospitable. We wish we could have...
