Set in a lovely old building the restaurant serves up a cracking Sunday lunch and much more besides. If you're looking for a country pub for a well cooked Sunday roast you could do a lot worse! We had our five month old with us and the staff were super friendly and accommodating and nothing was any bother for them....

This genuine old village pub is a few miles out of Stamford at Easton on the Hill. Considerably cheaper than hotels in Stamford & a convenient overnight stop if travelling in this area. The menu is interesting with good local ingredients although not particularly extensive or innovative. The wine list is also quite varied & sensibly priced & the local...

Four of us dined last night (Saturday night) I felt compelled to write what a great time we all had. The food matched the service - both an exceptionally high standard. Three of us had the chicken for main, would highly recommend this. Excellent portion sizes and tasty. The pub has a cosy, warm atmosphere, the staff are just lovely,...

My father had booked us in a month before as we were planning a family meet up , he stayed the night before and after finding the staff slightly unprofessional he checked that our rooms were still booked for the next night when we arrive and was told yes and not to worry. We arrived to be told they had...

Just had a wonderful meal at the Exeter Arms. I am a steak lover and the rib eye was one of the tastiest steaks I've ever had. They also did a great cheese and biscuits for afters. A lot of restaurants only do sweet sweets now days. Will definitely be going back. The service was also excellent. Attentive but not...

This pub was OK on the whole. The food was superb and staff were quite friendly. Rooms were small we're very hot. Parking was good however the major problem was that nobody from the hotel actually stayed in the hotel,at night. On the first night my wife and I were the only guests so basically we were the only two...

We arrived on Saturday afternoon to be given a very warm welcome and shown to our room. They had very kindly upgraded us to Room 6. All the staff we met seemed to be interested in our stay and were always polite and attentive. Our room was very comfortable and we slept well. The food served was good and special...

Thoroughly delightful venue that has been sympathetically modernised by expert hands. Many traditional touches that compliment their satisfying menu. Comfortable and cosy this is a cracking place for lunch. Staff were outstandingly gracious and I'll definitely return.

We were a party of six for two nights. They have recently had a new young man take over as the manager and he is going through the process of upgrading both the bedrooms and hiring new staff. They do have some problems that need to be addressed but ion the whole we had a very enjoyable stay and the...
