Casa Danielescu is a comfortable place to spend some time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and pretty nice and the restaurant has quite a large menu. On the other hand, I would suggest avoiding spending Tuesday night there, as there is a pool party which lasts until 4 AM, making it difficult to have...

Very big old mansion, clean looking place with a lot of flowers, trees and grass. We went there just for lunch in a day they had an event (wedding) but the staff was extremly helpfull and went out of their way to make us feel awesome! The food is very good and plenty on a plate and the prices are...

The hotel is build in a centuries old villa on the outskirts of Targu Jiu in a quiet and peaceful location. The rooms are big and very nice. The restaurant is absolutely fabulous and so is the whine cellar. In the summer they also have an outdoor pool. Cabs in Targu Jiu are also very cheap.

I had my wedding at Casa Danilelscu's restaurant and also a few rooms reserved for us and the guests. For a 4 stars complex, the experience was quite embarrassing because it rained in the restaurant !

I spend a night in Casa Danielescu in May 2014. The location is not so close of the famous monuments, the splendid works of art by Constantin Brancusi, but the surrounding green area compensates a little! The stair-house is small and narrow, take good care with your luggage... No elevator! I recommend the first floor, because there you can use...

We stayed for 1 night on our way to the Transfagarasan Highway because I wanted to see the Brancusi monuments. Rooms are spacious and clean, and they have a pool that was fun for the kids and the breakfast in the restaurant was very good. The staff is polite and helpful; we did not encounter any problems at all, everything...

Clean, comfortable and spacious. Food in Restuarant was excellent although they struggle with large parties. I was there for a wedding where they have a beautiful huge reception room and catered for about 150 people. Thought the wedding food wasn't as good as it should have been as restuarant food was excellent.

If you plan to visit Tg. Jiu to see the Brancusi monuments in the Municipal Park or if you plan to drive to Ranca and take the Transalpine Highway stop for a day or two at this cozy B&B located just outside the city next to a chestnut orchard. It is quiet and pleasant.
