Really enjoyed my break at Barnham Broom. It is conveniently located to visit Norwich and surrounding areas. The rooms were comfortable and had all the facilities expected. The room was well maintained during my stay. The food and service in the restaurant is good, with plenty of menu choice at both breakfast and dinner. The spa facilities have a good selection of treatments, in pleasant surroundings. I enjoyed a hot stones massage. All the staff that I encountered from the moment of check-in and throughout my stay were professional, pleasant and helpful. I would definitely visit the hotel again.

Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Several went beyond the basics to help make our stay comfortable. The junior suit was clean, well equipped and decorated. We were very comfortable and slept well. The food served was delicious. We attended a wedding and I was particularly impressed with the dairy free afternoon tea! Couldn’t tell the difference in the cakes! Overall a lovely stay and I’d come back!

Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff, we felt looked after, would definitely go back. The lounge / bar area is very spacious with a wood burner in the main lounge which was very nice. The rooms were very clean, comfy beds, fridge cooler. The food was excellent with a good choice, breakfast good except for the painfully slow toaster, little too much butter in the scrambled egg for my taste but other than that cannot complain. My wife enjoyed her spa treatment in the lovely relaxing clean and professional on site Spa.

Barnham Broom proved to be a very comfortable place to stay whilst attending a wedding nearby. The hotel has a lovely comfortable lounge area with real fire. All of the Staff went above and beyond to make our stay a happy one - particularly Sharon on Reception. All Brasserie staff were very efficient and knowledgeable about the produce being served. Very professional. The suite bedroom we had was super comfortable.

The check in was very smooth and the front of house charming. Loved our generous sized room with white company toiletries. We were staying there as attending a wake. My only complaint would be the food. The buffet at the wake wasn’t nice so popped down to the sports bar and had what was advertised as a flatbread pizza. It was a couple of slices of microwaved pizza and was completely inedible. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. I’m sure the food in the brasserie is of a much better standard.

Customer service before our stay was excellent, especially since having to move our stay due to illness. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Checking in was a bit of a ‘average’ experience, arrived early (2.30ish) told room wasn’t ready, fair enough since we were quite early and check in is 3pm. The man on Reception then told me it would be ready in another hour!!! Expressed my concern at reception stating check in is guaranteed at 3pm as per my email. Relaxed in sports bar whilst we waited, I went back to reception at 3, again was told room wasn’t ready and Receptionist would ‘check with housekeeping and see what could be done’ reiterated it said on my email check in is at 3 and then magically the room was ready - happy this was eventually resolved. Once all of that experience was over we finally got up into our room - the suite was clean upon arrival and very spacious. Very happy with this. Such a lovely room. The only disadvantages to our stay were the following - obviously a large party near us had booked numerous rooms and were going to and fro numerous times of the evening into the late evening. Very loud slamming of doors and very loud noises such as laughing and talking which we heard constantly - those guests didn’t have much consideration that other guests would be winding down/relaxing at that time.. but that is not the hotels fault so didn’t mention it to them. Just beware you can hear everything from your neighbours! Only other disadvantage was we were informed before arrival via telephone that our TV was a smart TV with Netflix etc which is crucial for our spa weekends to relax in the evenings. This information was incorrect. Very limited TV channels available so opted for our laptop we bought to watch Netflix. Wifi was unbearable. Constantly disconnecting, low signal and couldn’t watch TV with this, really did hinder our experience. I would suggest smart TVs being in all rooms/the suites for a more luxury experience with special in room wifi with a password and better connection, which isn’t available to all guests unless they have booked a room. Wanted to mention this to reception but since the person on Reception that day was the man who told us on the phone that the TVs were smart TVs with Netflix on, I’m not sure he could have done anything to help us with the wifi. Afternoon Tea was out of this world. I cannot thank the gentleman enough who looked after us. He was exceptional and we would return just for his excellent service. Food delicious and very good portions. Thank you to the brasserie with being so kind about our dietary requirements. Breakfast the next day, we opted for in room dining for an extra surcharge to add the luxury feel to our stay. Eggs arrived cold and very minimal options for in room dining. Everything else was ‘ok’. Next time would have eaten in the restaurant for breakfast to ensure our food was hot. The spa facilities were incredible. The couples massage we had was just perfect and we both would return for another treatment. Overall we enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn’t return for an overnight stay unless some tweaks were made to the in room breakfast service and in room wifi/TVs to add a more luxury feel. Definitely will return for afternoon tea and the spa though. Thank you Barnham! …

Whilst unfortunately the Courses had been inadvertently flooded we managed to get two rounds of golf in , the Staff were very attentive and could not do enough for you. It was great value for money , the food and accommodation were excellent and we have already booked our tour for 2024.

Myself and a friend visited Barnham Broom resort for a spa day and afternoon tea. I would highly recommend and we had a brilliant day. The staff are all excellent, friendly and accommodating, the spa treatments were second to none and the experience was really relaxing and enjoyable. The customer service here really is excellent. I would like to give a special mention to a gentleman named Harry in the sports bar who served us. He absolutely made our day. His customer service was impeccable and he made us feel welcome and well looked after. He is a real credit to Barnham Broom, thank you Harry.
