The lodge is a nature lover's paradise. You don't have to leave to see elephants, buffalo and lots of birds. Rooms are clean and well laid out. Food is good with decent variety. Bar selection is good for most beers and whiskies, though a little pricey. This is a place to unplug,

We stayed 2 nights at Ol Tukai Lodge on our Amboseli Safari. We chose Elephant View vs Mountain View. There were huge herds of elephants, several Hippos, and lots of incredible birds in the park just beyond the Lodge fencing. Our room had a nice deck area to sit and enjoy the

I stayed at Ol Tukai Lodge for a night as part of a five day Kenya safari -- it was the first night and what a fantastic way to kick off a safari experience. The lodge is beautiful and the second story bar overlooking the grasslands is perfect for a sundown drink as you watch up

Every aspect of this safari holiday was wonderful: we saw lots of animals and they came very close to the fence of the lodge. Our safari drive guide Stephene was very skilful, friendly and professional. The room was comfortable and with a great view of Kilimanjaro, surrounded

Hi Tia, water is not an issue at all in Kenya. They sell water all over. In generally Ol Tukai Lodge is a high standard lodge and you will not miss any water or any other things. It is like in all other hotels, you can buy all the water you need. They have nice bar, restaurant and a smal gift shop. We stayed in Kenya two weeks and we never had problem in buying water. The prices were acceptable every where. So don't worry and all and dont bring anything. We had a wonderful trip. We were a family of 4 adults and no one experience any negative issue.

Let the vehicle approach the animals slowly without revving the engine and you be five meters close . Dont be too near as there are wild animals and they can injure you. keep safe distance of five to ten meters. Across the perimeter electric fence of the hotel the elephants are five meters away. giraffes are best approached along the park roads as they browse but any disturbance will make them runaway. hippos with calves are easily agitated. keep five meters from the Marsh where they graze. that distance is adequate for your 300 mm.
