I stayed with my daughter for 10 days at the beginning of January. The staff were all incredibly kind, gracious and helpful. The yoga classes were authentic and challenging. The room was fantastic - a huge air-conditioned, comfortable and clean hut where you will never hear neighbours walking around on the floor above you because you have your own space with outdoor shower! I had a garden view room which was totally fine. I would often walk over to one of the raised platforms to meditate and watch the ocean. The pool was the most beautiful infinity pool I have ever encountered. The yoga studio is huge and opens up to a fabulous ocean view. The restaurant was adequate for my vegetarian needs. The spa is the mother of all spas, it is what every spa I have ever been to, tries to be. I highly recommend staying at Puri Bagus Lovina. It was simply a beautiful getaway.

What can I say about the Puri Bagus lovina resort. Our travel agent in Adelaide, South Australia booked us in for 4 days as requested as we had never travelled to the north coast of Bali before. Visited Bali several times before. Well the trip from Legian is 3 1/2 to 4 hours through some spectacular scenery. Reception was very professional. We had booked a two bedroom villa with pool. Turns out we we had two one bedroom villas with pool. Staff are so lovely and helpful can't do enough. Breakfast was included and some days it's buffet others a la carte. Foods always good. Great ocean view room overlooking the Bali Sea. Loved it so much we extended another 5 days but gave up the two villas and moved into single villa and was offered a great deal. There's a free daily shuttle to Singaraja and Lovino Beach at 9am and will pick you up at 11am. They will take you anytime for a reasonable fee. The resort has a Spa for massages and treatments, yes it's more expensive than outside but the experience is well worth it. The restaurant has a good menu but after 4 or 5 days of the same menu you may want to try something different. The resort will organise tours and bookings for local restaurants if needed. We booked a day tour and was provided an excellent driver. We went out on the sea to chase the Lovino dolphins, not sure I enjoyed seeing 13 boats chasing a pod of dolphins for an hour early in the morning. This is the off season how many boats are there in the peak season. Asked if they could organise a boat trip down the coast for a couple hours. Never been asked before, but no problems. Unfortunately for us the raining season decided that today was the day to start raining. And we were an hour into the trip. I would highly recommend the Pari Bagus Lovino resort for a tranquil, low stress and relaxing holiday. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay we will try to come again.

This is a very scenic beach resort in Lovina. The place is very neat, clean and includes villa type accommodation with other basic amenities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is located about 7 km from the famous Lovina beach section where the Dolphin Monument is. The restaurant provides tasty foods with Indon flavor at reasonable cost. The resort has a free shuttle bus service to the Dolphin Monument or Singharaja town (9:00 am leaving and 100:am back). They arrange boat trips for dolphin watching, snorkeling and scuba driving.

The room was not ready when we arrived. When we got to the room I informed the desk clerk that it was not the room I booked (the room I booked had a bathtub.) He apologized and said he will offer “the best room we have”. He then showed me another room that was exactly the same. When I showed him pictures on Agoda, He said there was nothing he could do. I asked for a refund and he said it was impossible. The sheets and towels looked dingy and unclean. The room didn’t cool off until well after midnight so we both slept poorly. The pool was cloudy and the breakfast was in eatable. I decided to forfeit the $230.00 for the two other nights I had booked, seeing they wouldn’t give me a refund. Only as a car from a much better resort came to pick me up did they offer a refund which I did get in the end. I don’t recommend staying in this resort.

Thank you very much for your review. We would like to extend our most sincere apology for not being able to meet the quality of service which you had expected from us. We acknowledge that there was an error in our part which resulted in your unpleasant overall experience. Maintenance on our rooms and facilities are already in order, but it could not be carried out in a timely manner due to various hindrances. The photos which you showed to our staff must have belonged to our Two-Bedroom Suite and our Duplex Suite with Balcony and Sea View, the only two room types which do feature a bathtub and are listed as such in Agoda’s page. Your reservation data shows that you had reserved our Deluxe Ocean View room, which does not feature a bathtub in the bathroom and is not listed as featuring a bathtub in Agoda. Please make sure you have carefully reviewed the room type which you chose before finalizing your reservation in order to avoid such error in the future. As for the refund, our staff cannot directly issue a refund as you had made your reservation through Agoda. Therefore, you had to cancel the rest of your stay through Agoda as well in order to secure your refund. Please forgive us for not being able to properly inform you about it sooner. Once again, we are very sorry for what has happened and and very grateful for your review.

This is our second visit to this hotel in 3 months. It is our favourite little hidden gem in Bali. This place far exceeds all other 5 star hotels we have stayed in previously. The tranquility and peacefulness that you get here is hard to find. Every corner of this property is gorgeous and meticulously maintained. The staff are super friendly and the attention to detail is impressive. The staff will go out of their way to make your stay perfect and memorable. The food and beverages here are delicious and well priced for a hotel. There are other dining options nearby if you do feel like something different. There is a minimart 2 mins walk from the hotel for essentials. The hotel does money changing onsite and also has a free shuttle into the town centre each day. The spa on-site is also worth a visit. We stayed in an ocean front villa which is amazing to be able to hear the ocean waves crashing at all times of the day, super relaxing. We can not wait to come back again ASAP!

Last visited this hotel 16 years ago. When we came back, the staff and management welcomed us like long lost family members. Every staff from garneners, cleaners to F&B and Front office staff we encountered was professional, friendly and warm. They made our visit really special. We celebrated a birthday here and they surprised us with a specially decorated room and dinner setup in the restaurant. Special shout out to Ibu Suarti and Ibu Ayu. It was difficult to leave the hotel. We will be back!

This place has great service! There was a problem with our ocean view villa due to the heavy rain, so the management upgraded us to a better villa with private pool and gave us an hour of free Balinese massage for a couple😊We was very happy about it. The resort is very green and well maintained. The berry cocktail was our favorite drink 🍹

This is one of my most favourite places to stay anywhere. The team are not only friendly and accommodating but they go to extra lengths to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The setting is divine and the grounds are extensive, well looked after and beautiful. Food is delicious and nutritious. I highly recommend a stay here and I look forward to my next stay (hopefully in 2020).

Full of bugs, flies and ants especially near the pool area. Never been bitten so much probably due to stagnant fish ponds. Menu very limited with the same unhealthy choices daily, we mainly ate next door at dream2000.
Such a shame as no beach area to lie on and you get hassled by locals trying sell your stuff. the many trees cover up what little sun they allow in.
Rooms ok but poor aircion and terrible wi fi. Could do with refurb
The only good thing are the staff they try there best although need to change the towels more regular and remove off beds once people have used.

Puri Bagus Resort in Lovina is heavenly. Everything from the lovely, detached villa, to the infinity pool is delightful. We stayed a week enjoying the beach, pool, sunsets, spa treatments, cultural show, food and beverage, and surroundings. The Deluxe Ocean Villa is a stone's throw from the beach and is very spacious with a huge main room, ocean view patio, large bathroom and showers both inside and outdoors (in a secluded space off the bathroom). Spa treatment is excellent and very affordable. The outdoor, yet private, spa treatment setting is spectacular with a close-up beach view, and beautiful pools of water and fountains around you. Yoga class can be arranged with the resort's very talented instructor, also director of the spa. Yoga takes place in a special building with glass doors opening onto the beautifully landscaped resort grounds and Bali Sea. Breakfast by the pool is a treat and features all you can eat hot and cold specialties from a buffet. Eggs and other items made to order. The management and staff are exceptionally friendly, efficient and professional. Customer service is a high priority for this staff. In the surrounding area, we enjoyed nearby waterfalls in the mountains, and hot spring swimming parks, both in the mountains and on the shore. Cooking classes can be found at the resort or within walking distance at Warung Bambu Pemaron. Lovina is a fun town to visit (free shuttle from the resort in the mornings). We stayed at Puri Bagus in 2016 as well and thoroughly enjoyed our visits on both stays. With the south of Bali becoming so much more crowded and noiser, we prefer the peace and tranquility of the north.

I am the manager, just spend there one night but the mail is correct. As far as I know, there is only one airport in Bali Denpasarand it’s far from Lovina.
Hi Mia, Yes air-con is available in all of our rooms and we have a spacious yoga room for yoga practices. For mosquitos problem we provide an anti-mosquitos spray/cream in rooms and every once a month we conduct a bug fogging or even every turndown service on request by the guest.

Puri bagus lovina is located about 2,5 km from the closest market, Banyuasri market. While another bigger market, Anyar market, is about 3,0 km (at city center). Of course we can provide transport if its needed.
Shops & Restaurant/Bar you can find alongside the main road and our resort also provide restaurant & bar.
