This was I think our third (or fourth?) visit to Clouds and yet again it did not disappoint! John and Fiona are the most warm and welcoming hosts, they really do welcome you like friends. Besides the plentiful and tasty breakfast with plenty of home-cooked and locally sourced produce, they also provided us with tea, cake and shortbread on both afternoons we were there. Relaxing with tea on the terrace overlooking the Kent countryside and eating a slice of Guinness cake - can it get any better?! They helped us book a table at the nearby pub which is within walking distance. The bedroom and bathroom are both spotless and very comfortably appointed, and there is also a sitting room for guests' use. All in all, highly recommended.

We stayed for 2 nights with John and Fiona. The room was lovely. A beautiful view from the window, very quiet. The bathroom was immaculate, as was the rest of the house. We could use a nice sitting room, which proved to be handy because we had the first rainy day in weeks. The breakfast was probably the best breakfast we had during our trip, as were the scones that we received upon arrival. But above all John and Fiona were very nice hosts. Since we were not able to see the lovely garden of the Great Dixter in the sunshine we want to visit the region again and are looking forward to staying with them again!

I stayed at Clouds for five nights while I was attending an equestrian clinic nearby. The owners could not have been more accommodating of my unusual schedule and requirements (early starts, late returns, parking my horsebox in their shared driveway!). My bedroom was perfection - a GREAT bed ensured I slept really well and had no sore back in the morning; the view from my window was a rural idyll. Terrific shower and lovely bathroom facilities. THE BEST BREAKFASTS I could have wished for - the homemade granola was to die for! And most of all I felt so completely welcomed into this beautiful private home. If you like aesthetically pleasing surroundings and value superb food and hospitality, Clouds ticks every box.

Dear NJ, We are most grateful to you for taking the trouble of writing such a charming appraisal of your stay at 'Clouds'. Even though we only had very fleeting moments together our sundry exchange of emails arranging your booking enabled us to know you even before you arrived. Your 5 nights with us provided us with much enjoyment and satisfaction in being able to accommodate your somewhat more challenging requirements than we normally requested to provide. It was truly delightful to be of service to you and we hope that you may be able to repeat`t the experience in the near future. We wish you good fortune. Warmest regards, John & Fiona.
