We stayed in the courtyard suite and found our perfect retreat! Jane & Peter have made this an amazing place-everything you could hope for and things you only can dream of. Janes knowledge of the area was very helpful when enquiring about pick your own farms. Tranquility & peacefulness in abundance!! Highly recommend

Right from the offset we felt at home! Peter and Jane (and the chickens) were so welcoming. The little touches such as home made cake and chocolates were a real treat. The room itself is spacious and beautiful, don't even get me started on the double bath... Amazing!!! Breakfast arrives in your room as a time of your choosing and... More

I can not speak highly enough of the experience we had a Holcombe Valley. We stayed in the courtyard suite and my god it was outstanding. It is a beautiful relaxing retreat that left us feeling like we had spent the whole weekend away. We booked in for my partners birthday and we felt fully pampered from the minute we... More

Sadly we only were staying for one night whilst visiting family in the village - we could quite happily have stayed for much longer! The attention to detail is wonderful, everything you could want or need is there and more! The bathroom (the huge double bath especially!) is spectacular. A thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable night! Couldn't recommend enough - will... More

We have stayed here a couple of times in swallow cottage , this is a lovely little place its so quiet & tranquil . It's away from the roads so you can't even hear any traffic , it was lovely to sit outside on patio chairs/table (all provided) looking up at the sky watching the buzzards flying high . The... More

We booked a four night short break, to visit my daughter, and stayed in 'Robin's Nest. Tastefully and very comfortably furnished to a high standard with a view we wish we could wake up to every morning - even started trying to identify the different birds that visit the garden. Jane and Peter are very friendly and helpful. We would've... More

We consider ourselves to be extremely fortunate to have discovered this lovely B&B in the Holcombe Valley, whilst browsing the Internet. It lived up to everything and more I expected from reading the website and reviews. However from that it wasn't possible to taste the fantastic home made cakes left in the room, experience the selection of quality teas and... More

Booked this B&B suite for our honeymoon and I really cannot fault it! The room is decorated amazingly with great touches such as a great DVD selection, toiletries, dressing gowns, slippers... the list is endless. The best bit had to be the huge double bath with candles and lights to add some romance...or perhaps it was the chocolates, flowers and... More

Once again we decided to get away from our hectic lives and have a trip away for the evening . Not wishing to take a chance on a unknown B&B we decided after our last trip to stay at Holcombe Valley B&B. Well we were delighted to find it was exactly the same attention to detail, quality service and friendly... More

My partner booked this for a break away, and he couldn't have chosen better. As soon as we turned up we were greeted warmly by the owners and showed around. Straight away loved how quirky the room was, also the very unique double bath in the en-suite was an amazing feature. There were many little treasures to be found in... More
