I spent a weekend with my boyfriend at Luca&Simona. The location is amazing! It's part of a medieval castle complex. Really unique! Rooms are great and both take care of their visitors in a very friendly way! We visited in January and it was really cold outside. It was even more cosy and romantic inside! Can recommend it highly!

We decided to stay at a place in the side of our road south in Italy. We chose well!
The B&B is a castle at the top of the hill in this village, so if you have a lot of baggage or you cant clime stairs - this place isn't for you.
The view is AWESOME!
The room is very cozy and there was a portable A/C. The bed was very big and comfortable. The wifi wasn't that good..
There was a self-served Italian breakfast (Coffee, Bread, Jam, Chocolate..)

Thank you.

Beautiful view, good value breakfast and fantastic hospitality. We loved our stay in this ancient place and would highly recommend. Tucked away on top of a hill in an ancient town. A real privilege to stay in a castle.

We alway look for unique accomidations and this B&B in Fabro was fantastic! Set in the beautiful countryside of Umbria, this former medieval fortress is a marvel and a unique experience. Our four person room had 2 levels (with two single beds on the main level) and a quirky staircase that led upstairs to the double bed and a 2 piece powder room. The shower was on the main level of the room. The wooden staircase was steep and may be a challenge for those with mobility issues, but the comfortable bed upstairs was worth the climb. The second room our fellow travellers had also was two levels but had the large bed and bathroom on the main level. This room also had a little kitchenette with a bar fridge. Both rooms were quaint, clean and lovely with stunning views, which we enjoyed that evening with a glass of wine.

Wander the fortress and see the breathtaking panoramic views of the country side and take a walk through the little town below the fortress and you will know that this is the Italy you see in the movies and imagined when you were planning your trip.

The B&B common area was warm, lovely and our host was charming and very accommodating. Breakfast is a typical Italian fare of sweet pastries, toast, jam and fantastic coffee, (with the offer to make eggs to order!) We loved our experience here and you will too! Build memories and stay in the unique, you will be so glad you did.

This site has great WiFi, safe parking (in the town below, a short walk from the B&B) and was warm and comfortable. Our rooms were very clean with AC and were well appointed. This site is just minutes from the main highway and Orvieto. Highly recommend.

Stayed one night with my family of four. The position is an excellent choice to move around both Umbria and Tuscany. The owners are lovely people with a great sense of hospitality. Thanks Luca for all your kind advice. Hopefully we will be returning in the Spring.

After a long day of cycling we arrived in the very charming B&B Al Castello of Luca and Simona. Very hospitable, beautiful and clean rooms, spectacular view over the valley! It was a very welcome surprise to stay the night at such a beautiful place! We highly recommend a stay at Al Castello.

A lovely little B and B run by Simona and Luca both being delightfully unassuming and unfailingly helpful. Breakfast was entirely self-service with a wide selection of yogurt, juices and some pastries. It suited our needs exactly. In addition to providing a comfortable environment, we were given accss to discounts at local attractions including the spa at St Castiano dei Bagni. The B and B is less than a 5 minute drive from the A1 with ample parking nearby.

My sister said it well, and I am here to second it! What a LOVELY find! This charming B&B is tucked away in a castle that overlooks the region of Umbria. The owners were very kind and their B&B has their sincere Italian-esque charm! We stayed in a room with a bed downstairs and another upstairs in the loft. The views were simply amazing, and the quiet was a welcome change form the hectic Rome life! The kitchen downstairs is a welcoming self-serve breakfast fare with a coffee/espresso machine, lovely bowls, cups, dishes, and the quintessential Italian sweets for breakfast. Thank you Simone and Luca..we had such a nice stay! (The three American sisters!)

You must stop and stay the night. We were visiting a wonderful winery, the Vitalonga Estate for a fabulous InterNations wine tour and lunch and I booked this b&b for my sisters and I to stay the night nearby - WOW!!!!! An amazing location, a wonderful room (we had the loft bed as well) and spectacular hosts! The village is so charming as well! What an incredible find!
