We had a lovely stay at the Brambles with a yummy breakfast ๐Ÿณ We had a warm welcome and some advice for dinner. Breakfast was lovely with a nice chat with Bob who recommended a trip to Lys which was lovely ๐Ÿ˜Š We had room 2 although compact it had everything we needed and a lovely comfortable bed ๐Ÿ›Œ Would recommend and are thinking of returning to one of the studios ๐Ÿ˜Š

This B&B was ok . The room was a bit on the small side as was the bathroom and it did need some maintenance. To get to Cambridge you can drive but it is not recommend as parking is limited and expensive. We got the park and ride which was 3 miles from the B&B which is the best way to get to Cambridge.

Bob was a very helpful host. The B & B is a little way from the nearest bus service and he ran us to the park and ride. The room was comfortable and clean and had little extras that some places lack such as bath robes, an iron, plenty of power points and mirrors including a shaving one.The shower was very good and the bed was comfortable. The only thing that I would agree with other reviewers on would be the need for some blackout linings for the curtains-albeit they were certainly not flimsy as described elsewhere. The breakfast was excellent. I had fresh fruit, yogurt, a warm croissant and a full english which really set me up for the day! The rate paid represented good value for Cambridge in August. We hope that we will return.

Very unwelcoming reception when we arrived. Very small room, with plenty of cobb webbs everywhere. In serious need of some redecorating, and a very good clean. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. Room was seriously warm and no fan on offer. Breakfast was just as unwelcoming. The same lady cooking breakfast that checked us in. Not even a good morning! Whilst cooking breakfast was constantly touching and pulling her very long hair out of the way. ( surely this should of at least been tied up) So certainly wasnโ€™t surprised when I found a lovely long hair in my breakfast. When we went to leave we said thank you, and hardly even acknowledged us. Very expensive for a bed for the night.
