The best place to stay with a big family if you traveling on hwy 16 very nice hostess and host you can not beat the service better than any 5 star place. We would go there anytime again and the breakfast was great
Wonderful ambiance, DELICIOUS home-made food, outstanding service! Absolutely enchanted by our visit! Love the nostalgic decorations, very well set tables. They do NOT give free drink refills of soda/ pop, however. (They do of water and tea.)
Stayed here with family and was by far the most exciting place we stayed, very different! The food was very good and the hospitality even better! very vintage but made for a lovely change; would 100% recommend a visit! Don’t judge from the outside!
We occasionally go there for dinner. The owners are sooo friendly as well as their staff! Very unique looking place! Recent reno's, never stayed overnight but the pics of the rooms look quite inviting.
Very pleased and pleasantly surprised. The bed was so comfy Beautiful old inn that was built around 1905 and renovated to the 1920's Tony was very accommodating. Restaurant food was good. Made us feel like we were friends. Not for someone with mobility issues as 21 stairs to…
"We only ate at the restaurant."
"Baltimore suit is adorable for two!"
"No TV, but wifi available if a person asks. Rooms are various sizes - from a cosy nook to a spacious suite. All are upstairs."
"If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs due to the hotel being located close to the road. Pay extra and go for the extra large brand new suite which is located at the back end of the hotel."
"If you don't mind sound of highway and train traffic the south west corner room was very good. This suite and one other have a toilet and bath - the other rooms share washroom and shower facility."
