Stayed 2 nights here and wow, what a place! The campsite was gorgeous and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything was Covid safe too which makes the site shop (which seems to have literally everything you'd ever need lol) feel safe. The campsite seemed to be pretty full and yet it was so peaceful and quiet. Toilet/shower area were very clean and big and all the facilities were great. The surrounding village is beautiful and relaxed, with a great pub 3 min walk down the road called The Kings Arms that served great food. Highly recommend the walk to Dancing Ledge, which is right by the sea. An old quarry that surrounded by grassy hills with rock climbing and a large rock pool you can swim in. Will definately be back here soon and can't say just how good this place is! Really appreciated the helpful chatty campstaff too as they gave me some great tips and maps for the area. Highly recommend this place, very grateful to have found it.

The site is basic; Toilets/showers/wash-up/Elsan. No grey water disposal. Decent shop. Lots of fresh water taps. Various pitches- different shapes and sizes - some partitioned off with established hedges and walls. They cook breakfast if you want it (didn’t try myself). Fresh bread and croissants daily. The site has been going for years. Quiet. Great location. Easy walks - traffic free - to Square And Compass, Dancing Ledge and Swanage. A good, well run camp site. Only a few electric pitches. Everything clean and working. Staff there if you need them - not intrusive. Friendly and efficient. Always around. You’re just left to sort yourself out - would suit campers who’ve done it before and have their set up all sorted. Takes camper vans and motorhomes. Tents. Particularly suitable for lightweight campers who have their own sheltered field with washing lines. Recommended.

Two couples + 2 kids stayed in the camping barn. Very basic, but perfectly comfortable and good value. Fab campsite with a lovely no fuss feel to it. Shop with local produce and a brilliant cafe that did us a superb breakfast.
