Just returned from another fabulous week at Upton Grange, stayed in Rattys Retreat Cottage this time. Absolutely loved it. So comfortable and scrupulously clean. Loved having a real fire most nights. We celebrated our 50th Golden Wedding there and a big thank you to Kerrie Graham and team for their extra efforts to really make it a super week. Our weather was the best which saw us walking the Dorset Coastal Path most days. Had a delicious meal at the Smugglers Inn sitting comfortably outside in their marquee with heaters. We were visited by our children and grandchildren and they loved the Rooster and the assortment of garden toys. Planning to definitely return in the Autumn. Barb and Geoff from Wiltshire
Stayed in Ratty's Retreat the first week lockdown eased, cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the equipment needed for our family (fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine). Cottage has a lovely log fire and comfortable lounge area with the most amazing bright bedrooms we have ever experienced, a perfect way to start the day. The gardens and grounds are beautiful with lots of space for the children to run around and play. The location is perfect for visits to all local attractions and easy distance to the beach at Ringstead. All local amenities are only a short drive away, Corfe Castle, Abbotsbury, Hardy's cottage, Durdles Door and Lulworth Cove. The owners were exceptionally helpful and made us feel very welcome.
We've just had the most lovely weekend in Pheasants cottage which was very lovely and spotlessly clean. The cottage was well equipped and really comfortable - we had such a relaxing time. It is so peaceful there. It is right by Ringstead beach and the South west coastal path so lovely active days followed by relaxing evenings in front of a roaring log fire. Recommend Sculptues by the Lake and the Crab Shack for a great fish meal. In all a great weekend and we will certainly be back.
We have just spent a week at Upton Grange - the cottage was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had great views of the garden. There are plenty of walks and attractions in the area and also a good pub about 25 minutes walk away. We would thoroughly recommend Upton Grange and hope to return one day.
We last visited Poachers Cottage at Upton Grange Holiday Cottages in February 2017. We have just returned from a five night break and really wondered why we hadn't returned sooner! A marvellous base for a relaxing break with plenty of walking and sightseeing options nearby. The welcome from Kerrie was lovely and the cottage was immaculately clean and well equipped. An excellent response to the coronavirus situation including provision of PPE and hand gel in the cottage. We can particularly recommend the walk along the cliffs from nearby Ringstead Bay to White Nothe. We were fortunate with the weather for our stay but there are plenty of potential wet weather alternatives in the area. We will return. Thank you. Julian and Julia
