Peaceful, rural location with great views of the fells. An ideal position for the Pennine Way and Teesdale Ways, as well as many day walks - including High Cup Nick amongst others. Recommended in The Good Beer Guide as well as being a Cask Marque pub, quality real ales are always available. Good home cooking and a warm comfortable welcome should all help you have a fantastic visit to this beautiful part of the world.

After a long day of hiking, we arrived at the Langdon Beck Hotel. It's not fancy - but had everything we were looking for - great cask ales, wonderful dinner (my compliments to the chef on the Leek & Potato Soup!), and a marvelous breakfast. We did not have an en-suite, but the

I have never stayed at the hotel, only visited for a drink or eaten there. Rest assured that it is a delightful inn. Contact them directly for an answer.
