Stayed at polemonium on a Saturday. We were on way to Newcastle and could not have coped with a Saturday night in 'party capital of europe'.

Always a pleasure to have our regular guests to stay with us, we are open all year for the same value price and there is always something to do in Durham, always a warm welcome for everyone.
Stayed in the Birch Four Poster Suite which was lush. I would point out that this place does tout its green credentials but they arnt finger waggers they just make sure everything is lush especially the organic breakfast. The price at £30 a head was...More

Very poor bed and breakfast. Really boring location, very disappointing garden considering it has a national collection and very dull house with no merit at all. So generally I regretted going there and should have found somewhere nicer in the area.More
