Pevors Farm is on the Essex/Suffolk border. We have converted an 18th century granary, adjoining cart lodge, forge and barn into top quality naturist accommodation. The twelve meter indoor heated swimming pool is in an adjoining courtyard with sunroom, hot tub, barbecue and games room. The surrounding meadows and woodland have naturist footpaths and ponds.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Another relaxing stay in this beautiful piece of paradise tucked away in the Essex countryside. It really is a wonderful place to unwind away from the world . And treat yourself to something from Sophie’s menu you won’t be disappointed.

We had been aware of Pevors for several years but as we don't live far away had not been to stay. We decided to go for a weekend and managed to get a last minute cancelation. Most guests have been several times before and book from visit to visit so it would pay to book well in advance. We stayed in The Forge which was well equipped and laid out comfortably. We chose dinner from Sophie's kitchen for two nights so all we had to do was reheat. Her menu is listed on the website, quality and prices are good and our choices were in the fridge waiting for us. There is over a mile of paths on site so no need to dress to go for a walk, lots of seats and loungers scattered around. Despite a very hot weekend we had the 15m covered swimming pool to ourselves. There are also a sauna, boules, short mat bowls, library, barbeque area and sun room all arranged round three very sociable courtyards. Pevors is well worth a visit and if only it was 100 miles further away from home, we would be back for a longer stay.

Having to cancel our usual naturist trip to Crete this year we decided to try a naturist place in the uk for the first time. We stumbled across Pevors Farm whilst searching on tripadvisor, and having read the reviews decided to book a Monday to Friday stay in the Cornloft. It was absolutely lovely, everything you could want and everywhere Covid secure and spotlessly clean. We swam in the pool most mornings before breakfast and luckily the weather was great plenty warm enough to sunbath naked on the patio or in the meadow. It’s wonderful feeling walking in the woods, sitting by the ponds or laying on the sun beds in the field au natural. Pevors is a little place in paradise, go there to relax, read, swim and de stress. All your troubles will disappear. We have booked next year already as most of our fellow travellers were repeat visitors and it seem to be very popular. Oh....don’t forget to order from Sophie’s Kitchen, you will receive a menu when you book. We ordered a few items which were delivered to our room as we arrived. All I will say is everything was beautiful, home cooking at its best and definitely worth it. Thank you Margaret and John we look forward to seeing you both again next August.

This was our first visit and we have already booked to go back! Really relaxing time with excellent facilities. Made very welcome by John and Margaret and all the other guests were very friendly. We had some of Sophie's fayre and the pastry was to die for.

My wife and I stayed at Pevors Farm for 4 nights. The accommodation was clean, well furnished and extremely comfortable. It was a totally relaxing experience and apart from the indoor pool, hot tub and games room there was plenty of time to walk in the adjacent fields and woods. The owners had made the cottages and surrounding area entirely safe based on the latest Governments Covid rules. A fantastic experience. So good that we have already booked two separate weeks in 2021.

This was our first 'naked' weekend getaway and we couldn't have wished for a more wonderful and beautiful place to spend our time. The farm is located in an idyllic location, where you are embraced by peace and tranquillity. We received a warm and friendly welcome after a horrendous 7hr journey ( bank holiday traffic ), and as soon as we settled into our warm and cosy Hayloft all worries and stresses from the day disappeared. Everything was pristine and clean, with sanitising gels and wipes available wherever you went. The kitchen is well equipped, which makes 'naked' cooking so much more fun. The indoor pool is available 24/7 - ideal for a late night swim. The weather wasn't on our side - cold winds, rain and not a lot of sun - so the naturist walks have been postponed until next year. The Gallery is a great place to unwind with a game of indoor bowl bouls and the pool table is a great addition too. We have already booked for 2021 - can't wait!! Thank you

I had my first experience of Pevors Farm this week (17-21 Aug 2020) and I can't even begin to put into words just how amazing this place is - it is truly a little piece of heaven on earth - a true delight for anyone to experience naturism in truly beautiful surroundings. With all the upheaval of lock-down and not being able to work because of it (Freelance Event Manager - predominantly weddings) - the peace and quiet was a very welcome relief and I could feel the madness of the last 4½ months ebbing away with each day that I spent there - connecting with nature and reconnecting with myself. And what better surroundings to connect with nature than the amazing woodlands, meadows and ponds that are all around on this naturist site - perfect settings to head out into and focus on whats important - YOU! This place is a definite must for any soul that requires rejuvenation, because being able to enjoy the benefits of naturism out in nature and being as one with Mother Nature is what it's all about. The accommodation (I booked the Forge) and facilities are equally amazing - there really isn't anything more you would need. It is truly home away from home and has everything you would expect. An early morning walk through the woodlands, followed by a few laps in the pool and then on to breakfast on the patio was the perfect way to kick-start the day. John, Margaret, Sophie and David - you have created an amazing place! THANK YOU to all of you for this and for allowing others to be able to experience naturism in such relaxed and comfortable surroundings too. I so badly didn't want to head back home at the end of my trip, but I left knowing that my soul has been rejuvenated thanks to you. I look forward to returning again very soon 😎

My girlfriend and I have never been on a naturist break before but have always fancied the idea. After some research we chose to visit Pevors Farm for a long weekend break after reading all the glowing reviewers. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by John. He showed us to our accommodation, The Granary, and gave us a quick tour of the facilities. The Granary was perfect (apart from the tiny TV which has been mentioned in another review) The living space was well appointed with a hob, oven and microwave and all crockery, pans and cutlery. The bedroom was excellent. Very spacious with the open stairway making it feel like an extension of the living room. A nice big bed and an en-suite bathroom. Once we’d *unpacked* we set off for our first naked adventure. First to the pool which was comfortably warm where we enjoyed a swim by ourselves. Then into the hot tub to unwind and relax. Walking around naked felt so normal and liberating. The next day we headed out for a walk through the meadows and to the pond. The weather was excellent and it was so nice not to have clothes on. Saturdays bbq was a great way for all the residents to meet and chat. Although my girlfriend is vegan so we had to provide her food! Sunday we went for another walk and discovered even more tracks and another smaller pond. We played badminton near the hammock area, pool in the library next to the pool and table tennis and carpet bowls in the Gallery. There was some rain on Sunday but we still stayed naked. All the guests we met were so friendly. Special thanks to Piero for the French coffee pot! In summary we couldn’t have asked for a better location or hosts for our first naked adventure. We will definitely be booking again. It’s a great place to unwind, recharge and feel the liberation everyone should experience. Thanks to John and Margaret for being the perfect hosts and thanks to Davids chickens for breakfast! Nat & Matt

We have been coming to this lovely naturist retreat since 2008 and we have just come home following our 19th visit. Over the years we have stayed in every one of the 7 accomodation units and all are very comfortably furnished with everything one needs for a self ctering holiday. John and Margaret are fabulous hosts and they are now assisted by their daughter Sophie who also prepares home made meals for heating up in the oven together with other goodies which are all delicious. Also son David looks after the hens on the farm and free range eggs are available. During the high season, John and Margaret put on a weekly BBQ when possible for the guests which makes for a great social occasion. Other reviewers have mentioned the other facilities such as pool, hot tub, games room for pool and the Gallery for lawn bowls and table tennis. There also lovely walks around the farm where clothing need not be worn and a little further afield are a fishing lake and a bluebell wood and although you need to be clothed to get there, you are able to be nude whilst in those areas. When we left on Friday, we made a booking for our 20th visit in August 2020. It is always adviseable to book early as the farm cottages are always very popular
