Targeted this lovely pub at the mid way point of our walk on spec and were overwhelmed by such a wonderfully warm welcome, great food and drink in a proper cosy pub setting. Can’t recommend it enough....
Enjoyed a lovely meal and real ales while walking offas dyke. Thus is a real 'locals' pub but in no way cliquey. As a stranger I was shown a warm welcome. The food menu was extensive for such a small village pub and it's well worth a visit
The accommodation here is average. There’s a need for some investment in both time and money . It all feels all little neglected, tiny towels, tiny cups , lights that don’t work, broken blind. The food is average pub food , pies which are dishes of liquid surmounted by bouffant…
