We chose this hotel as a one night stop over on our way to the ferry in Portsmouth...Just a short drive further on. The location is in a lovely little village which has a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The check in was pain free and the room we were given was excellent, clean, and warm, the decor has...

Stayed in Room 10 - lovely garden room - very spacious and warm - under floor heating. Clean, quiet and a comfortable bed - could not fault the accommodation. Will return as we have family in the area. Full English breakfast was cooked well and hot. Would recommend this accommodation.

We were just away for the weekend visiting family and stumbled on this lovely little hotel. We had booked the suite as it seemed good value and we had a lovely room. My other half thought it was the best hotel room we'd stayed in. It has a lovely big, sleigh bed and a separate seating area. The bathroom was...

The staff here are charming and attentive. The breakfast included is brilliant (perfect poached eggs!) Our room is gorgeous, spacious but cosy, giant comfy bed, epic bath, lovely and warm, the towels are fluffy etc etc I can't fault it! The car park is small and yet there were plenty of spaces available so we had no trouble parking. I...

Booked this last minute for my husbands Birthday. Wasn't disappointed! Our room (6) was really lovely, nice character features with the old beams. The room was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed in the room. Bathroom was perfect too. We ate in the 'La Bocca' Italian restaurant. (a first too) Compliments to the chef, our meal was fantastic....

Booked in here for 4 nights. Chose mini suite which was very good - room 10. Parking could be a problem here - there are just 4 or 5 spaces for the whole hotel - but our room was in the garden annex and had its own parking. There is plenty of parking in 'The Square' but its only free...

I managed to park in the hotel's small but convenient free car park every time I came back to the hotel from being out and about. Check-in was smooth and the receptionist very friendly and efficient. I had room 7 on the top floor, a twin although I only needed the 1 bed. The extra space was great though! The...

I have friends nearby and always admired this hotel and thought I would take my boyfriend as a birthday treat. We stopped in the king suite at the back of the hotel which were wonderful. If you want a weekend with a bit of luxury this hotel is great for you ! The bed was a large wooden sleigh bed...

It is a nice hotel and the staff are really friendly, the 4 poster bed was comfortable and the room was very clean although contemporary. I was in a room overlooking the Square and the windows are traditional single glazed multi pane sash, and this meant that you could hear all the noise outside, right down to people passing talking...
