Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I loved the secluded bell tent here at Woodland Tipis and Yurts. It was a little bit more set back from the paths so it was lovely and private, but still close enough to the hot tub and the kitchen! Mark was great - friendly, helpful, and informative. The site was beautifully kept, the facilities were clean and there was even a bath! The atmosphere was incredible, so relaxed and friendly. We were able to chop our own firewood for our fire pit, and had plenty of wood and firelighters for the stove inside. The tent was comfy and warm, even though it rained, and the kitchen had everything you could want. Just remember to bring your own sheets for the duvet! We nearly forgot 😁 I'd also recommend bringing food with you - there's a very small shop inside the pub in the village where you can get basics, but not much. On the other hand, you can get food delivered to the site from Sainsbury's which is what we ended up doing and had no issues! Absolutely recommend it and would go back tomorrow if I could!

My Wife and I had the best weekend of our lives here. Julia and Mark are lovely people and so helpful, the woodland is such a peaceful place to stay and the yurt was spotlessly clean when we arrived.

We had an amazing family trip to celebrate Grandads 70th birthday at Easter. We couldn’t rate our trip more highly. A truly beautiful place, with lots of space for us all to relax. The kids loved playing in the woods on rope swings, etc and the hot tub was a lovely experience looking at the stars with the birds singing. Everything is very well thought out and the kitchen very well equipped. The pizza oven also adds to the experience. The beds are super comfy and the showers fantastic. Some nice walks from the site and we enjoyed a few local pubs . The walk to the Cottage of Content” particularly good. Thank you for a very memorable weekend.

We would like to thank Julia and Mark for the best family time away we’ve had. We were made to feel so welcome, our two girls absolutely loved it! The site is so safe for children to just explore the woodland and play with new found friends and offers all the home comforts you could ask for. We can’t wait to come back it really was a fantastic experience. ❤️🛖🪵 Thank you From The Aldridge’s

This was our second stay in the yurts , and we loved it even more than the last! Really great alternative to camping, we just packed out clothes and bedding which was refreshing. Toilets and showers were superb, beds comfy, kitchen really well equipped. We used the pizza oven on our first night, and the big bbq on another occasion. The kids (ranging from 6-15 yrs) absolutely loved it. The hot tub is a great edition to the site, we really enjoyed a dip in the evening. We had booked the whole of the top area which worked really well as a big group. Thanks to Mark and team for another lovely stay.

We are still on a high after the most glorious wedding reception for my daughter and her new husband last weekend. We had a magnificent time in this magical setting. Nothing was too much trouble for Julia and her brother Mark who run both the glamping side of the business, but also the weddings. Even on the morning of the wedding Mark was there and responsive to my last minute requests and could not have been more helpful. We put up an extra dance marquee and the best way to show how lovely it all was is to post some photos. The flowers were done by Sabine - she transformed the interior of the main marquee and bought the woodland theme inside to great effect. The young all stayed in the glorious and very comfortable tipis and yurts and the more elderly stayed in the lovely city of Hereford nearby. Transport was all arranged by Blue Line taxis and everything ran like clockwork. It was universally held to be the best wedding reception that any of us had ever been to - unique and magical. We were lucky with the weather and the evening sun set in pink glory and the stars came out. We could not have been happier. Many thanks from us all to Julia and to Mark.

This is a fantastic site surrounded by rolling green hills close to the River Wye. Birdsong woke us each morning, lots to do in the area and a few lovely pubs close by. We stayed in a tipi and were delighted to find it had its own wood burner, a hammock outside, fire pit, barbecue and compost loo. The communal kitchen area was really well stocked down to cafetieres and wine glasses, there were hot water bottles for cold nights and even a roll-top bath, as well as covered areas with plenty of tables and chairs. We were lucky with the weather so it was a perfect stay, will definitely be back, so much easier than camping when there's no set up needed, no need to bring all your cooking gear and a small site so it stays as peaceful as the surroundings. Although we didn't use the hot tubs or pizza ovens we look forward to returning with friends to do so!

This place is incredible, I can honestly say it is faultless! The standard of cleanliness is so high, the beautiful touches, really comfy big double beds. The woodland itself is absolutley stunning, to hear the owls and see the buzzards etc is so lovely. Covid safety has been thought out so well. The people that run it, a family take care of all your requirements quickly and are very respectful. The hot tubs are gorgeous in the woodland setting. I think the costs are really reasonable as you can have a few campers in each yurt or tipi. It is a must for families and children, where they can run safely in the woods. Excellent for adults wanted a break, even teenagers. I love this place, can't wait to return in June! Alix

Got such a lovely warm welcome when I arrived, its a beautiful spot . My yurt was wonderful the bed made up and really cosy with the wood burner. The open shared kitchen was well equipped and there were hot water bottles to use on cold nights. My daughter had a lovely time running round and exploring the woods.

Fantastic stress free weekend! Arrived at 3pm and our bags were taken down to our yurt. The owners were very friendly and helpful. A quick guide round and then left to our own doing. Communal kitchen has pretty much everything you need for the weekend. Definitely recommend the hot tub in the evening. Definitely be going back.
