Booked through Booking.com, got a good price for two double rooms. On arrival to site we were given a slightly better price by the guys on the front desk. Parking is free and there is plenty of it, drinks are reasonably priced at the bar….the staff all seemed very helpful and friendly, the rooms were a good size and very clear, the shower water pressure was fantastic at all temperatures and the bed was very comfortable with a great choice of pillows to choose from. Only stayed one night for work commitments and ate out at an India restaurant only five minutes walk from the hotel and the food was amazing. My room overlooked the car park which was not an issue but due to the warm weather I had my window open…unfortunately I was awoken by noisy guests and taxis on a couple of occasions coming and going in the early hours which was disappointing but if I was to revisit this hotel in the future I would possibly request a rear facing room to avoid these inconsiderate type of hotel guests. But overall we had a good stay here and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you.

So from my very first meeting with Jamie who is the Senior Meetings and Events Coordinator, everything has just been absolutely perfect.
We wanted to celebrate my mums 70th birthday and had a clear vision in mind. Jamie was very accommodating from helping us with our menu to giving us suggestions on planning the day.
No request was too much and I felt very happy and reassured throughout the process. Any changes I needed regarding my event was dealt with professionally and our contract was updated right away.
The room itself (the Wellington Suite) was absolutely stunning and a real showstopper. It backs onto the most beautiful gardens with great views and outdoor seating. My mum’s passion is gardening and she absolutely loves flowers and this is the reason we wanted the venue and in particular the Wellington Suite. We wanted to bring the outside in when choosing the decor and I truly feel we achieved this.
On the actual day of the event we were given early access to set up and I was happy to see the tables were beautifully positioned and my seating arrangements were even better than expected.
Nishanth was my coordinator for the day, I believe he is the food & beverage operations manager. Nish, we cannot thank you enough for all your help and assistance last Saturday.
You really did go above and beyond my expectations when it comes to planners. You were on point the entire day everything was done before I could even ask.
Planning the surprise entrance we could not have done it without you and your thought process.
The food was so good I just still feel sad I didn’t really get a chance to eat. You never do when hosting an event. Not only did the food look great it tasted even better.
The guests were truly impressed with everything and most of all Nish and his attentiveness towards all them.
Having hosted a number of events similar in size I have to say I cannot fault the Bromley Court Hotel. It ticks every single box.
Venue - absolutely stunning Staff - friendly, professional and most important hardworking and on the ball. Value - the venue is worth every penny.
If you are looking to hold a truly memorable event, whether it be a wedding, christening or a party like ours Bromley Court Hotel is the one.
I wish I could do my event all over again 😊
I want to say a massive thank you to all the team that were working on September 9th 2023 and a special thank you to both Jamie and Nish for making this event truly memorable for me, the guests and most important the Birthday girl.
Thank you again from the Chandra Family x

I have a fondness for this hotel as we have used it on many family occasions in the past including my wedding which was excellent. However, my experience on Saturday 30th December couldn’t have been more average. There seemed to be extreme disorganisation from checking in to being given a breakfast table. The ‘deluxe’ room felt grey, dingy, tatty and unwelcoming. It looked nothing like the room photo attached to this. It was number 327. The bedside lights didn’t work and it didn’t particularly appear to be be set up for a guest arrival. The saving graces were good quality towels with the ability to heat them (not the bath mat. or shower mat which looked unappealing so I didn’t use). And of course the pricey garden view reminding me of my wedding day. Service, apart from one very young blonde haired lad at breakfast who appeared to be the most professional, was pretty dismal and very disorganised. I won’t be rushing back sadly.

We arrived on 30 Dec and stayed for 3 nights. We had a brilliant suite very spacious and easy to use TV's (very important to us oldies). The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the lounge area good too, maybe a slightly more spacious sofa at next refurb. Bathroom facilities excellent, we would have liked to have been able to isolate the fan overnight but it wasn't too noisy. We would also like the provision of a night light in the bathroom or automatic night light detection particularly as the bathroom light shines over the bed when door opened. These are minor issues. Very kind, attentive and helpful staff, nothing was too much bother, we felt very welcome even though they were all working over New Year and had probably had a busy Xmas! Breakfast was good, everything we could want, not too busy even on New Years day. We shall definitely return!

What a fabulous 2 night stay. We had a junior suite on the 4th floor 406 with stunning views to the beautiful gardens and incredible gardens they were. There were several weddings etc and conferences taking place whilst we were there which did not hinder our stay. We had a lovely Head Waiter, Andreas serve us in the Emile Room and had a 3 course meal including homemade leek and potato soup, steak/pork for mains and a delicious crumble with ice cream. We enjoyed 2 breakfasts here too & staff everywhere were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. If you didn't see what you wanted they happily made it for me. Our room was lovely and big, very modern and a nice surprise of rose petals, a card & a bucket of ice with a bottle of fizz made our stay extra special. We were here for a special occasion and to see a reggae festival at Crystal Palace Bowl, this was a perfect choice, far enough out for peace and quiet yet only a £23/£18 uber ride each way too. Lovely seeing and hearing the resident parakeets were an added bonus. Highly recommend and would definitely book again, as a Travel Agent owner I am very very picky but this was 5 star service throughout.

My sister and I recently stayed at the Bromley Court Hotel as a special treat for her 40th birthday. We had a nice time, but unfortunately for the price we paid, it didn't completely live up to our expectations. We opted for a cosy twin, as this was the only option with twin beds. The room was small but that was fine, however we encountered many problems. There was initially a problem with the shower and in fairness this was resolved by maintenance straightaway, however the next day we couldn’t close the window, when I tried to call reception, the phone didn't work. I went down to reception, and they sent a maintenance man to have a look, he said that the whole window was moving and that it was a bigger job to fix, he confirmed the phone was broke and we also mentioned the air con, which he also confirmed wasn’t working. So we had to move rooms. The 2nd room seemed in better condition with a much newer carpet and not stained like the previous room and everything was in working order.
We had one meal at the hotel which was a vegan burger but it didn't come with the vegan coleslaw as confirmed on the menu and apparently that was because they no longer stocked it, so why it was advertised on the menu as part of the dish we are not sure. But for the money we paid, the burger was really basic and the vegan cheese was also out of stock. So we paid for food and never actually got to eat it. In the morning we asked for a vegan breakfast and were asked how we wanted the eggs with it! We had to explain that eggs were not vegan. It seemed that the member of staff didn't understand which was quite concerning, however another staff member took the order and sorted it.
There were signs to a cocktail bar…. There is no specific cocktail bar, just an over priced bar with no menus or mentions of cocktails which was something we were looking forward to as part of our celebration.
So the positives were that the breakfast was really nice, it was cooked separately from the buffet (hash brown, vegan sausage, scrambled tofu, tomatoes, avocado).
The staff were really helpful, arranging an early check in and just generally being there to help. The gardens are really beautiful and were one of the reasons we chose the hotel initially.
Overall I would say the stay was ok, it didn't feel as special as I had hoped due to the issues we faced. The inside was okay, although it seems like it is in need of a bit of a revamp

Had a delicious 3 course meal, in the William Pitt room, to celebrate Mums 80th birthday. Andreas could not have looked after us better. The food arrived in a timely manner, it looked and tasted superb from a very pretentious menu. The wine flowed. Perhaps I could have done with a little more, to satisfy my appetite.
Breakfast, had lots of choice, and tasty. All you can eat, fruit, cereals, pastries, toast, cooked and continental. Again the staff were very accommodating, allowing us to sit at 2 tables near each other, it was no problem to relay the tables as we wanted.
Our request to have 16 sat round a larger square table was not an issue, the room was clean and presentable. There was not interruption from a Christmas party being held along the corridor.
We stayed overnight in one of the standard rooms, clean, smart, minimal toiletries but luxurious towels. Wifi worked straight away. I did find the room very warm, but didnt have time to look for a thermostat, which I'm told was there! We had all booked, quoting the event reference, which allowed the hotel to put us (7 rooms) close to each other. My family had a fabulous time.
Thank you everyone at Bromley Court.

My wife and I both really like the Bromley Court and would always choose to stop over there whenever we are visiting in the area. The hotel remains in the tradition of grand hotels and although it’s been extended a few times still comprises some very beautiful original architectural features and spacious landscaped grounds. During our recent visit, it was nice to see that it remains very well maintained and also very efficiently run. Both our room and the public spaces within the hotel were discernibly clean and well staffed. We think we may have had our room upgraded due to our visit being very much off peak because it was quite considerably better than we were expecting with a new walk-in shower, a nice view and the usual 4 star facilities. (The hotel gives upgrade priority to those booking on their own website and it looked like they had kept their promise on this occasion). The hot and cold breakfast items available benefit greatly by their decent quality ie:a decent quality sausage, organic free range eggs, and good bacon served from a well tended buffet. The difference is most noticeable and my wife’s vegetarian breakfast was again good quality and thoughtful with freshly prepared items such as poached eggs and avocados available on request. The main reason I’ve mentioned all of the above positive attributes is because on the evening on which we had chosen to stay, the price we paid was not that much more than the cost for the nearby Travelodge where, as we all know, none of the above pluses are available…

My wife and I stayed at the Bromley Court hotel for three nights 19th to 21st December. The cost of our stay was £430 which was "room only" and to be fair we did choose one of the plusher rooms on offer but clearly whilst not the most expensive it's certainly not cheap. The room itself was very nice, it was spotlessly clean and looked like it had been refurbished relatively recently. It was very warm in the room but we managed to get the heating turned down, better being too warm than cold I guess. Initially I was under the impression that breakfast was £18 per head, which I felt was a bit naughty given the cost of the room. In fact when I did some more research I learnt that for guests the cost of breakfast was in fact £11 per head which was more reasonable and frankly excellent value for money. We ate in the bar the evening we arrived and for a main course, a pudding for one of us & a couple of drinks each the cost was in the region of £70. Again not cheap I guess or maybe given that we live in East Yorkshire we aren't used to paying London prices. The quality of the food was excellent, really nice but I'm not keen on paying £7.80 for a pint of pretty average pale ale from a keg. Parking was fine, a big carpark and on street parking if required and it was free. The strongest part of the Bromley Court offer in our view was the staff, all of whom worked very hard to make our stay comfortable, they really were excellent. Unfortunately my wife became ill on our last night there, nothing to do with the hotel by the way and the staff were excellent, very supportive and were happy for us to take our time on the day of departure before heading up the A1. Would we stay there again?? Possibly, we hadn't stayed in Bromley previously and discovered that our family who we were visiting actually live the other side of the town so next time we might well try somewhere a bit closer to them. An enjoyable stay over all and well worth considering if you are looking for hotel accomodation in that part of London.

It is a while since my stay, so things may have improved. I commented that the first breakfast was stone cold, and the second morning's breakfast was just warm. I complained to the manager, and all costs were taken off my bill immediately.
Maybe I'm just picky, but I tend to tell it like it is!
