If you want value for money then Travel Lodge is for you. Four days before our stay Travel Lodge we did stay at the Premier Inn located in Bromley. The decor and the overall size of the room (especially the make and size of the 📺) was much more by far superior than Travel Lodge but by its own merits Travel Lodge did have its own little plus points which beat Premier Inn on certain things like ie: the windows in your room could be opened unlike Premier Inn which could not be opened, the bed came with four pillows which made a huge difference whereas Premier Inn only came with two pillows Although we didn't have the breakfast offered at Travel Lodge I thought the price was very reasonable compared to Premier Inn which imo was a complete rip off, for example for two nights at Travel Lodge with breakfast included is priced at £96.98 whereas two nights at Premier Inn without breakfast costs £94.00 and as I said breakfast is not included. Travel Lodge also supplied us with more than enough bath towels to see us through our stay unlike Premier Inn which only supplied us with one bath towel and one hand towel. Unfortunately once when we got home my other half realised that he had misplaced his phone charger. After a frantic search of our house I phoned the hotel and enquired if a phone charger had been found in the room that I had checked out of. The person who took my call was very helpful indeed. He asked me what make was the charger was and when I told him the first thing out of his mouth was "does the end look like a spike?" which once when he said that I absolutely knew 100% that they had my phone charger. I replied that that indeed sounded like my phone charger and the man on the other end of the phone said he had seen it earlier and was just going look for it. After a short wait he returned to the phone call and said he had it. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are not able to return to the hotel until Monday which he said was no problem. He would put the phone charger in an envelope with my name written on it and then in the hotel safe ready for me to collect it on Monday. Imo he went out of his way to help with the phone charger situation. The hotel staff do go above and beyond to help the hotel guests if need be

Stayed here with my son a couple weeks ago. Idiot from the below room was smoking and the smell came through the bathroom vents. Horrible!! Leland dealt with it by looking to evict those guests, as well as providing us with a nicer smelling and bigger room. Leland was so supportive and helpful in the way he dealt with this, so we were extremely grateful. We will stay again purely due to the friendly and proactive nature of the staff. Thank you very much Leyland.

Myself, partner and kids were placed here by our housing association after our flat was flooded at the end of October, and we stayed here for nearly two months while more suitable accommodation was found.

The staff here are amazing and professional, they assisted us throughout our stay and made us feel welcome, and showed compassion due to our circumstances.

We had a number of booking issues caused by other third parties, however the staff went above and beyond to rectify these problems for us.

The facilities and rooms are good, as we had to move between rooms due to bookings and the required deep cleans of the rooms for health and safety, we experienced a variety of different rooms during our stay.

Regarding the food they do provided a buffet style breakfast in the mornings with good variety, the evening menu is okay with a fair selection to chose from, but would recommend to eat early as during busy periods the menu availability becomes reduced, however we did enjoy the food and the service from staff was very good.

In conclusion our overall experience at the Travelodge in Bromley was excellent and would strongly recommend for a short stay, and I wish all the staff well in the future, and we would definitely go back under different circumstances.

My wife and I were in Bromley for just one night and we decided to stay here having done so quite a few years ago, and it is so convenient as it is centrally located within easy reach of the town centre, restaurants and pubs. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that the decoration and decor of the place had been kept as pristine as we recalled from our previous visit; there was no deterioration at all. Checkin was extremely quick, and we had a room at the back of the hotel away from the busy A21 road that runs passed the hotel at the front. We found that the room was exceptionally clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Our only slight gripe was that we found that the room a little hot while trying to sleep, but this is probably because we sleep in such a cold room, our preference, while at home. We took advantage of the underground car parking and we thought that the price paid for a full 24-hours was very reasonable, especially for the obvious peace of mind that it gave us. Checkout the following morning was just a matter of putting the room card in a slot at the Reception Desk. All in all, we thought that it was a very good choice to have made, especially at the cost which was very, very reasonable.

Room Tip: Use the underground car park as parking in the streets around the hotel is very controlled.

Stayed at the travelodge. Felt welcomed as soon as I walked in, felt safe with the safety measures put into place. Couldn’t fault any member of the team. Cleaning staff were friendly and super helpful. The manager Chaiup Dragusha, and his receptionist team Leland and Leigh. Made me feel welcomed and safe during my stay, impressed by the room cleaning by the housekeeping team especially Maria, who was very helpful especially when giving me directions Into the high street.

Room was nice enough but a mistake staying with kids on a Saturday night. A group had booked the rooms down the corridor and spent most of the night into the early night banging in and out and smoking cannabis. Hotel management did their best but to be honest what were they going to do assuming they aren’t issued with tazers.. Upshot was amicable but loud arguments outside our room as they tried to eject them or at least some of the extra people they’d brought back...

In short - don’t book on a Saturday night if you want to sleep, and hotel management might want to consider in future separating families from ‘crash after the pub’ groups on different floors...

Wouldn’t return.

For all the 3 days w stayed at the hotel, none of our bedding was changed or made. The room was never cleaned and the towels unattended. The receptionist told us that due to the holidays delivery of cleaning products was delayed.
I was expecting value for money, but really disappointed.

Stayed here for 10 days for work, the hotel staff were great, particularly Leena who was always polite, patient and very helpful.

The rooms were slightly bigger than other Travelodge's I've stayed at which was welcome and made the stay more comfortable.

However, the reason I can only give the hotel 4 stars was due to the persistent smell of marihuana from a room with several occupants. I don't blame the hotel staff for this, as they did address it.

This location is an excellent budget stay, particularly for business purposes.

Someone had been smoking in the room allocated on arrival (214) and our phone charger and cable went missing when Travelodge staff moved our personal effects to a different room.
We asked Reception to check, the lady on Reception said she personally inspected the room after the cleaners had been in stating that charger was not there. The only people who went into that room were the Travelodge staff who moved our personal effects, according to Reception no other guests used that room. Whilst checking out the lady on Reception said the Manager would call to discuss this. No such call was received and no compensation offered.

We stayed at Travelodge, Bromley (London Road) at the end of January 2020. We were very pleased with everything-rooms, bed, shower, and the new carpets gave it a fresh modern feel.
The staff were all lovely, including Chaiup, who was particularly polite, friendly and professional.
We have booked to go again.

Upon our arrival nothing looked out of the ordinary. We couldn't smell any drugs of any type throughout our entire stay. The only problem we had was the noise level with regards to the people on either side of our room opening and closing the doors to their rooms. It was very loud. Premier Inn also at Bromley didn't have this problem
