Clive made us feel really welcome from the moment we checked in till we left. Full english breakfast with gluten free toast for my wife was greatly appreciated. Good location for a weekend break to Canterbury and the Isle of Thanet.

Very helpful, lovely owners, great food, great room. If we could make only one small suggestion we would suggest a friendly notice/reminder to all guests to respect other residents and try to keep the noise to a minimum

My friends and I have eaten here on a number of occasions, the menu is very varied and there are always a number of specials. The freshly cooked food is excellent and Clive and Penny are excellent hosts.

The hospitality from this place is second to none, from first meet and greet to leaving! We stayed one night whilst visiting friends and found the venue easy to get to and ample parking. The breakfast was efficient and tasty and the kids enjoyed the interaction between them and the staff. A good local pub and stay place!

Visited on business for one night, greeted by the landlord and owner, Clive, who showed me to a good size triple room in main building. Was wonderfully decorated and fitted in with the character of the building. Did not have evening meal but breakfast was good and hearty and with easy parking and checkout. Would stay again as great location.... More

Found this place just driving past on a Monday night and decided to stop. We were a bit early as they dont start serving food until 6 so we had a drink whilst we waited. The food was fantastic with generous portions. We were very impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff.
