We had a lovely stay here for a family wedding. Really friendly welcoming staff, great rooms, super clean and loads of nice touches in the room. Loved the water and canister of cold milk for the morning. Bathroom was spotless and had lovely shower gel & shampoo. Thanks for a lovely stay! Breakfast the next morning was lovely and in a nice cosy restaurant room!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! We received a very warm welcome (and complimentary coffee) from Katie and her staff with the news that we had been upgraded to an available suite as we were celebrating a special occasion. Our room was warm, cosy and spotless with great attention to detail with a really comfortable bed. We had a delicious meal of Moroccan lamb in the the cosily lit restaurant. The manager/head waiter of the restaurant is French and he brings a real and very welcome air of professionalism so often lacking in the UK restaurant business. The following morning we were served the fullest breakfast you can imagine again with excellent service. At the Queen's Inn they really go the extra mile to make your stay with them memorable!

Been wanting to go here for a while & so glad we finally got round to it. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. We arrived early & was treated to a nice complimentary cup of tea. As soon as room was ready we were shown upstairs to one of the new rooms. We we're definitely surprised the room was nice & spacious with a spotlessly clean bathroom. The mattress was so comfortable, really fluffy soft pillows ( we do prefer memory foam pillows, but that's just our personal preference). Had a few drinks in bar before getting changed for dinner. The young barmaid definitely knows how to make a bloody Mary. ( it's surprising how many bar staff manage to mess up a bloody Mary seriously). Food was lovely not to big but enough to fill you up. My husband even got a complimentary glass of prosseco & dessert as it was his birthday. Just a lovely touch & nice thought. Breakfast in the morning was just as nice & a good choice to choose from. Whole experience was just more than we expected, we will definitely be back when we got time.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in early October at the Queen’s Inn, which is a very attractive 16th century house that has been tastefully refurbished. Our room was very comfortable, with quality bed linen and nice toiletries. The towels were also of a very nice quality. Breakfast is cooked to order, and most appetising. We had 2 evening meals, and both were excellent. The bar and restaurant area is pleasant, and nicely decorated. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A particularly nice touch was the provision of fresh milk and water each day. All in all it was a most pleasant stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we are in the area.

We were here for a couple of nights while attending a day course at Perch Hill. Lovely welcome and very comfortable room. Dinner and breakfast were excellent both days and the staff were great. The pub is busy and has a very good atmosphere, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a 2 night stay here recently with Canadian friends who were on a short UK stopover to visit nearby Sissinghurst. We wanted them to enjoy staying in a traditional English hotel (not a chain) and chose The Queen's Inn on their behalf, despite having never stayed there ourselves before. Our initial worries that we might have made a disappointing choice turned out to be completely unfounded - our rooms were clean and comfortable, with contemporary decoration but still retaining the charm of an old, historical building, and the bathroom facilities were modern and spotless. We slept well in comfy king size beds and heard no late noise from the downstairs bar whatsoever. A lovely touch was having a little bottle of fresh milk left at our door for an early morning cuppa and the brownies supplied with the hospitality tray were delicious. Breakfast was included in the room rate, with waitress service (not a breakfast buffet) and plenty of options as well as the "full English". Undoubtedly the staff are a huge asset to this establishment - unfailingly cheerful, chatty and helpful. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend The Queen's Inn to others visiting the area.

Rooms are well-equipped, well decorated and well-maintained. Lovely little touches abound. All the staff, from receptionists to restaurant and team at the bar, are delightful and cheerful, and nothing is too much trouble. They managed our large party in the restaurant admirably, and food was scrummy and served with real aplomb. Throrougly recommended.

Stumbled upon this excellent pub / hotel after a visit to Sissinghurst Castle. It was my partner's birthday and, not knowing the area, we were looking for a good late afternoon meal. We certainly were not disappointed. A relatively small menu which is often a very good sign. We opted for a salmon pate starter which was perfectly presented. We ordered a chicken breast dish and a burger for mains. Both cooked to order and excellent. Should point out that there is a separate pizza menu which looked quite extensive. Jasmine our server was an absolute star and clearly a credit to the business. All in all an excellent experience and certainly a place we would visit again if and when in the area. Another reviewers comments and subsequent owners response about wine serving is astounding though!!! Wine should be available in all glass sizes especially at a countryside establishment where a significant number of guests may well be driving. Don't offer premium wine if it's a problem! Sorry but simply not acceptable!

The hotel staff were very nice here and very welcoming. The rooms a little tired, the food is ok . Was woken at 6.45am by the glass recycling lorry ..total heart attack moment which only those who have heard will understand. Very strange going up to and coming down from room as you walk past the dirty end of the kitchen and get full view of the waste . Not sure id return...but ive been told its the best in the area...so...
