We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. From the minute you enter to leaving all the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay there. The food and drinks we had were fabulous and the room was very comfortable. We will definitely be staying there again!
I`ve stayed at the Silverdale twice this year, once with my family and once with a mate, both times staying in one of the two lovely family rooms. The room was spacious, airy, clean and incredibly comfortable, with loads of little extras that would bump the price up in a lot of places- coffee making machine, fresh coffee and Netflix ! Both times I slept like a log. The staff are wonderful and very obviously take a real pride in working there. The food is home cooked beautifully prepared, proper chips, fish cooked to perfection and local produce, like Morcambe Bay Shrimps. You won`t leave hungry, lets put it that way ! My one little gripe, is that they only have a limited range of real ales ( well kept ). But I understand, that you can only stock what you can sell. When I stayed this time, it was cracking the flags, so spent most of the night in the lovely beer garden and the pub is obviously well used locally. All in all, both stays this year have been faultless and I can`t wait go back again. Thanks very much and keep up the good work, during these difficult times.…
Beautiful spacious room at the top of the hotel with a stunning view of Morecambe Bay. Walkable to the beach (2 minutes) and into the village. Comfy beds, immaculate rooms and a wonderful rainfall shower. Caroline is the perfect host.
We stayed overnight in July while on way to Scottish highlands. It is a lovely hotel with a very friendly staff and excellent food. It really couldn’t be any better! The room we stayed in was lovely - well designed and equipped with everything we needed. We will be going there again on the way back home. P.s. if anyone is interested in wildlife the hotel is close to Leighton Moss RSPB reserve.
The hotel is in a great situation in lovely Silverdale village and just a minutes walk to the unspoilt beach. There is a really nice garden with plenty of seating for drinks and dining and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, bright and spacious with views out over the bay. Breakfasts were substantial and good and our evening meals were excellent well presented pub grub - can particularly recommend the potted shrimps, the fish and chips and the pies. We look forward to returning.
