Holgates Silverdale is set just south of the Lake District in the beautiful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that is Silverdale and Arnside. A park for all your needs we accommodate tourers, campers, glampers and static owners. A large park which still manages to feel intimate we pride ourself on not only our location but our customer service. A large pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are perfect for relaxing in and our cafe and bar are open from 9am til late and we serve food until 9pm. We are open all year round for camping, touring and if you own a static you can come all year round too! We attended the bonfire event tonight and we’re disgusted to find cheap rubbery hot dogs out of a jar on sale for £4 each. Served cold, these weary excuses for a hot dog had to be eaten outside as a take-away item only. No chance of complaining as the queues were ridiculously long. Why couldn’t a proper sausage have been served for £4? I ordered some chips and whilst one portion was ok, the other was full of scraps that wouldn’t look out of place in the bin!

Thank you for providing this feedback, we hope you enjoyed your time at our bonfire night and firework display; a complimentary event we are proud to offer every year at our flagship park. Our takeaway burger and hotdogs were offered as a quick bite to eat, given the volume of people attending the event these were prepared to be served on mass ahead of the bonfire being lit. We haven't recieved any other feedback to suggest these weren't enjoyed on the day. We hope this experience, during a busy event, doesn't deter you from visiting us again to dine from our expansive menu featuring local produce during normal service times; 7 days a week. Thank you.

This is a lovely campsite, stayed in our camper van for 3 nights. Great size pitches and toilet/shower block really clean. Loved the pool with the added enjoyment to steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. We didn’t eat at the bar but the food looked good, but did have a few drinks, with good choice and good prices. Will definitely return here. Had a walk into the village and had great meals at the Indian cinnamon spice and the Silverdale hotel. Highly recommend this campsite 😊

I paid a fortune to relax and have a nice chill time, to find filthy beddings and bugs all over the place. It was a night mare for me and the kids felt so grossed to sleep. What an awful night. Not recommended overpriced!

I literally cannot imagine why anyone would score Holgates at less than 5 stars. It is an immaculate site. Lots of large touring pitches, lovely walks, super clean showers/toilets, lovely staff, fabulous food..... There is nothing at all to dislike, we will be coming here for many years ahead.

Visit regular in a motorhome, by far the best site I have been to. Amazing facilities, friendly staff and value for money. The food in the restaurant wont disappoint and the takeaways are very tasty.Would highly recommend holgates silverdale.

This is our first year caravaning, we have been all over, and stayed at lots of nice sites, but this one is the best so far! You get a nice private pitch, plenty of space around the site and no caravans crammed in! Food in the club house was delicious, was just expecting microwaved food like most sites but this was freshly cooked, I had pie one night and pizza the next! Can't wait to return

Took our touring caravan for a long weekend. Site is great and lots to do nearby. Toilets and showers are always spotless. Dinner was good breakfast was a bit tough to eat. Pool great for the kids. We will definitely be coming back again

I have lost count of how many times we have stayed here, the pitches are brilliant with everything you need incuding tv hook up, you choose your own pitch, the staff are very professional, always helpful and pleasant, the restaurant food is very reasonably priced and delicious, could do with more choice but that is not a complaint just a suggestion, we love coming here and will keep returning

We stayed in June in a motorhome. We were on a super pitch. The pitches are well thought out and lovely and spacious. The site has a large shop, restaurant, bar and much more. The staff are extremely friendly a helpful. The site is extremely well maintained and the shower facilities are spotless. We will definitely be returning, an absolute fantastic site. Close to the beach and great for people with dogs who like lots of long walks. A beautiful site.

If there is one thing the Holgate's family know well it is how to make beautiful holiday caravan parks. Their number of parks continues to grow but the flag ship site has got to be Silverdale. Facilities a plenty, with on site indoor swimming pools, slots and mini bowling alley. Pitch and put golf course and a restaurant/cafe offering a good selection of meals, which I have to say are getting a bit expensive. There is a nice bar area but sadly if you are a traditional beer drinker you will not find any draft bitter here. The bar staff might tell you that Wainwrights Gold is Bitter but the brewery have confirmed what I already know, it is a Pale Ale. There is plenty of choice for the lager and cider drinkers and the ever favourite Guinness! Some very nice ice cream (Wallings) is available in the Parlour and a mini store will see you right for daily essentials. …
