Fantastic weekend with family at Gibraltar Farm, lovely clean facilities, amazing sunset over the bay and a couple of clear nights made it perfect for stargazing. Great walks from site. The owner Amy is very helpful, our little boy enjoyed seeing the animals and even has a calf as his namesake. Can't wait to go back - From Max's mum...

Arrived early evening and found the journey quite stressful. Travelling from the north west UK you will encounter lots of diversions which stops the sat navigation being any use. Turn into sands land and head for silverdale. Sat navigation will try to get you you turn down a track DONT. Keep going and within 300m you will see a brown...

Many thanks for taking the time to comprehensively review your stay. I'm pleased you enjoyed your weekend here at Gibraltar Farm. The road closure near Carnforth has been a bit of an inconvenience for everyone living in Silverdale and travelling in and out of the village. The road should be open again in the next couple of weeks and make...

Thank you for your positive review. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay and found our toilets to be very clean. We do have to keep the grass a bit longer at this time of year, if it's short grass the ground quickly turns muddy when driven over a few times. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Best...

Camped here for 2 nights with friends as doing Morecambe Bay walk on the Sunday. Very well organised site, efficiently run - lots of signage but with a sense of humour! Plenty of showers, all kept spotlessly clean. Ideal location as the Bay walk started from the site. Also handy for walks into Silverdale village & the pubs/shops there as...

Had our second stay of the year earlier this month as we enjoyed our previous stay so much - but both visits had the same problems. We thought we'd give it a second visit before the kids went back to school in the hope that our first experience of the problem was just unfortunate timing - more about it later....

Dear Doug, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. I'm pleased that you found our facilities to kept in a clean and tidy condition, our stewards work hard to ensure this is so. The homemade ice cream and fresh milk are very popular, I'm glad you enjoyed them. I am sorry that the groundsman's work...

Gibraltar Farm campsite is down some very narrow, twisty roads, and at the bottom of a fairly steep hill onto the campsite (we were concerned about getting back out!), but we managed and it was worth it! The setting is stunning. Overlooking Morecambe Bay. Get a site with a view over the sea if you can - pitches 30/31 seemed...

Dear Sheila, thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are delighted you enjoyed your visit, the fresh milk, homemade ice cream and the amazing sunsets! We always say don't follow a satNav as it does take you down to Jenny Browns Point, which is a narrow road with no turning space (there is a sign saying...

Will I be returning..... Well... My daughter caught her hand in the toilet door and the farm was helpful to the point of giving us a filled hot water bottle.
