I had tried several times to pay over the phone but my work and dog walking stopped us so we gave up and they said to pay when we got here. We arrived on a cold, sunny November afternoon to a view to die for. Found a wonderful spot, the lady came to find us and we had a lovely

Beautiful place, well kept and very quiet, the only thing that annoyed me was the booking system, we had booked 3 caravans for a weekend and paid a deposit of £20 per caravan, the weather was bad so we rang site and they advised us not to go, we had also booked time off work. We

Dear Sue, Thank you for taking the time to review Gibraltar Farm. I’m glad you found the site to be beautiful, well kept and quiet. I won’t go into details about the inaccuracies of what you have written in your review. The fact of the matter is you have written a poor review purely based on losing a deposit of £20. A deposit is paid to guarantee a booking. You booked a pitch and failed to inform me until the day after you arrived at Gibraltar Farm that it was not required and then proceeded to ask for your £20 back. With the greatest will in the world it is impossible to rebook a pitch if you don’t let us know in advance. That is why the booking policy asks for 30 days notice. I’m sorry this has niggled you. I’m also upset that I too lost £20 due to an empty pitch on a busy weekend but unfortunately there isn’t a social media platform where I can vent my frustration. Best wishes, Amy

Recently stayed on this lovely site for 2 nights whilst travelling to Scotland from South Wales. Stewards were friendly and helpful . Toilets and showers were always spotlessly clean. Good walks from the site and only 1.5 miles from RSPB Leighton Moss. Liked it so much that we

Yes there are two pubs within walking distance. Both serve great food and are dog friendly. At busy times it’s best to prebook.
