We came for three days in July, very clean facilities, hand sanitizer at the doors of showers and asked to wear masks in communal rooms, felt safe to be there.

Beautiful sights of the sea and the fields, and the lovely Forrest, we loved watching the cows going to be milked. Stewards friendly and welcoming.

Some lovely walks around the area suitable for the family’s. Would love to visit again.

Loved this campsite, came here at last minute after watching the forecast
The location is perfect
Toilets and showers very clean
Check in simple
Brilliant views from the ten over the whole of Morecombe Bay and you can walk for miles from this site, over to Leighton moss, and much further afield
Good pub, the woodlands had the best beer, Silverdale good beer garden, but take a trip over to Warton for the old school brewery tap house you wont be disappointed
the added bonus of this site is the fact the farm sells fresh milk (either bring your own milk containers or buy one of theirs.
Its unpasteurised milk so hasn't been messed around with like in the supermarket (if your my age you will remember the milk as a green top !. everyone should try it if they like milk!
Arnside is only up the road and is a lovely little place
Also good fishing for flounder on this coast line
No negatives on this site , we were very lucky to amazing weather and even stopped a further night then planned!

It was our first visit to the campsite and we were welcomed by a friendly steward and given all the information we needed to choose our pitch from two different camping fields. We chose a spot, overlooking the beautiful bay. The field was well maintained with no mud and the grass was short.
The facilities block was excellent with clear labels so it was easy to find everything, from the washing up room (4 sinks), to the disposal points for grey waste and portable loos and even a special area for hosing down boots and dogs! The toilets and showes are spotless and the best I have ever seen on a campsite. The extra signage for COVID was clear without being intrusive and sanitiser was always available.
Walking down to the beach is easy along well defined paths from the campsite and we enjoyed gentle walks around Silverdale as well as plenty of time just sitting, chilling and enjoying the view over the bay. We popped into the shop to support the local business and that felt ‘safe’ too.
Fellow campers were friendly and considerate, sticking to the basic rules which meant everyone could enjoy their stay.
Altogether we had a relaxing, perfect 4 day stay. A gem of a campsite and we will be back for a second visit next year.

Booked for two nights hard standing electric hook up.
We were greated by the lovely steward who was so friendly. We could choose our pitch and we had a great pitch with an amazing sea view.
The site wasn't to busy all facilities were open with hand sanitizer on the way in and masks to be worn in the toilets.
All very clean and not many people in.
Lovely walks and pubs in walking distance.
Everyone is very friendly and why not if you are in such a beautiful spot.

Lovely site, great views and good facilities. The toilets and showers were scrupulously clean and because we were there from Tuesday to Saturday the campsite was very quiet. The steward was very helpful. There were some good walks from the site and despite the very mixed weather we were able to get out and about.

We took our recycling home so a recycling bin on site would have been good if possible.

We are looking forward to another visit.

I almost don’t want to write this review as I want to keep this site a secret. Gibraltar Farm caravan and camping site is an immaculate site in the most gorgeous location with fabulous breathtaking views.

The caravan and campsite is on a working dairy farm. It is immaculately kept and very well managed. They have fairly specific rules such as keeping dogs on a lead to protect the farm animals (common sense) and keeping noise levels low. If you want a party site don’t come but if you want a peaceful environment in a stunning location to really relax then this place is a must.
We didn’t use the showers or loos as we are self contained but if the Elsan point is anything to go by they are immaculate. There’s boot and dog washing and the EHU pitches have water too. Bring your levelling ramps if you’re particular - our pitch wasn’t quite level but I managed without ramps. Would probably use them next time - saves spilling the wine!!

It is a short walk (2 fields) to the coast of Morecambe Bay where there is a small stony cove you can easily get down to. A short walk along the lane of less than a mile takes you through the Jack Scout nature reserve (NT) and to the stunning views from Jenny Browns Point. Half a mile or so in the other direction is the village of Silverdale. This is home to a couple of pubs, a post office, a very nice coffee shop, a gift shop, a Co-op and a few other shops. Everyone was very friendly and you can walk down Shore Road to stroll on the pebbles or sit and admire the view across the bay.

A final mention must go to Amy who takes the bookings. She couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be returning. Definitely a favourite!

We aren't hugely experienced campers (third season) and stayed here end July / start August. Lovely location. Were nervous about COVID situation but oh so CLEAN. Masks weren't enforced in the loo or washing up area as per the rules so maybe more signage would help. To be honest, we just told people to put masks on ourselves. A lot of people didn't realise. But they clean the toilet and shower blocks twice a day for a few hours each time - we're talking a proper thorough clean - which was reassuring.

The only thing that would make this site better is campfires. Sure they could do fire pit hire with grass protection like some other places. It would just add to the ambiance and the North is blinking cold.

Kids had a great time.

Thank you for the brilliant review. We are really pleased you enjoyed our lovely location and appreciated all of the hard work involved in keeping our facilities really clean! I will look into more signage regarding wearing masks in communal areas. It does say on the campsite etiquette leaflet everyone gets when they check in and on the website. But you’re right, some more signs might remind people. We can’t have open fires onsite, for lots of different reasons, sorry if this impacted on your stay. We hope to see you next summer in warmer weather. Best wishes Amy

We had a wonderful 3 nights here at this beautiful spot. Spacious pitches, modern and clean facilities, laundry, dishwashing room, water tap on each pitch, home made ice cream and raw milk for sale on site. 2 mins walk down to a very rocky and pebbly cove. 15 mins walk to The Silverdale Hotel with its lovely beer garden and amazing Sunday roast. Also the Blossom Parlour / Blossom Bird cafe, a co-op store and pharmacy and a different cove which is larger and easier to get to. There has been no rowdy groups or music noise whilst we’re here except for the barking dogs that have absolutely driven us mad. Our fault for not realising we’d booked a dog friendly site and not at all anything to do with the site management. Having read previous reviews complaining about the rules I can only applaud the management for setting these. It’s a very peaceful, laid back site where you can relax and not have to worry about being able to get to sleep. Follow the directions on the website and not your sat Nav.

Just arrived back from this beautiful campsite, the views are stunning. The site is clean, safe & well maintained by Amy, Neil & the team. The facilities on site are spotless, the showers, toilets & washing area are cleaned twice daily & well maintained. The site itself is large with lots of campers, tents, caravans & mobile home users. They’re are strict rules on no noise, music & dogs running around which works well for everyone. Overall it’s a little gem & highly recommended
