Just returned from our first outing in our new caravan, and couldn’t have wished for a nicer site to visit. A lovely quiet site with excellent, spotlessly clean facilities. Cheap fishing at only £4 per 24hrs. Fellow campers were extremely helpful and the onsite staff were great.

We came to Moss Wood at the end of May. The weather was great and the site was better. Loads of kids but somehow peaceful and relaxing. We hardly saw our 10 year old the entire week as he was off playing. Less for the 14 year old to do but he found a few friends and used the

Unpleasant staff, very bland and boring site. Toilet block was clean but very dated. Wardens kept telling our children off when riding their bikes so much so our children did not want to play outside.Would not recommend or return, have stayed at much better sites.

As you can see from our other reviews, our customers usually compliment our staff for being helpful and friendly - I am sorry that in your opinion your experience did not meet this high standard. I apologise that you did not enjoy your stay with us and we will be looking into your report as part of our annual end-of-season review. I hope in the future you may give us a second chance where I trust you will share the positive experience most of our customers have with us.

Very nice site and wardens. Shower block would be very busy if site was full as there are only 2 showers but very spacious and clean. Would be very tight if awning was used as grass between pitches is quite narrow but for a quiet weekend it is lovely. Would visit again.
