Visited here for a weekend to celebrate a family birthday.
Rooms were lovely, I am using the décor in a bedroom in my new house!
Food choice very good, service great.
Overall a lovely weekend and would like to stay again and definitely recommend it.
We regularly spend an overnight stop on route to Scotland. Wonderful food and accommodation. Also splendid breakfast. Various rooms , hotel shop selling goodies from the hotel kitchen. Staff are also very helpful.
We’ve been a few times during the week so went on a weekend (Saturday) - food wonderful, service first class and thoroughly enjoyed our evening- a must for anyone who loves their food. You have to try the bloody Mary’s- best I’ve ever had.
Highly recommend. Beautiful location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Real family business. Decor lovely. Really interesting lots of fascinating individual touches. Room extremely comfortable. Food was superb - both dinner and breakfast. Will definitely return.
