We have just returned home after a very enjoyable visit to the New Forest, made even more special because we stayed at the Little Acorns Bed and Breakfast. The B and B is charming, the hosts are very welcoming and the breakfasts were really good.
The garden is beautifully maintained and we were allowed access to the garden and woods throughout our stay.
We felt very safe here as Chris and Reg have really considered everything to keep guests safe and secure during these difficult Covid19 times. The place is immaculate, everyone kept safe distancing whilst still maintaining such a warm and friendly atmosphere. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here to anyone.

There is very little to fault this place on; beautifully kept house/rooms, attentive and welcoming owners, great breakfasts and a fantastic "secret" garden. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay with beautiful countryside on the doorstep then this place is perfect. Seeing the badgers feeding from the comfort of the garden viewing room was an unexpected bonus.

We stayed here two years ago and had booked to return last year (2020), but of course circumstances conspired against that. Happily, 2021 was more amenable and it was great to return to stay with Chris and Reg in their beautiful home in the forest.

Despite the current stresses of life, even when on holiday, this is such a fabulous place to unwind, relay and recharge those depleted batteries. Chris and Reg have made very effort to make the experience as safe and as welcoming as they can, while still providing their usual great breakfasts and comfortable beds.

It was wonderful to be back in the lovely garden that surrounds their home, with the birds an ever constant reminder of nature; the nightly visits by the badgers for their peanuts, toast and marmalade, or honey; the chance of a fleeting glimpse of a visiting fox or deer; and the regular visits of the ponies at the front gate for Reg to serve them breakfast!

This small B&B is an absolute little gem, with just three guest bedrooms and an adults only policy, there is simply no better place to relax and unwind. We had absolutely no hesitation in returning for another two week stay, using it as a base to explore the New Forest and surrounding areas.

Lovely 4 night stay.
Chris and Reg are so friendly and welcoming.
This is a beautifully maintained property and is spotlessly clean, with a wonderful garden and woods beyond.
Breakfast was excellent when we enjoyed chatting to our hosts
Great to see the Badgers feeding in the evening.
This is a good area of the forest if you like quiet country walking.
Horse and Groom is an excellent pub in the village with good food and superb local ales.
Looking forward to our next stay.
Thanks Sue and Martin

It is not the easiest time to run a bed and breakfast but Chris and Reg did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The house is spotless and beds really comfortable. The garden is fabulous, full of interest and wild life. In the evening 5 or 6 badgers came to get their evening meal. I must not forget to mention the excellent breakfasts. We stayed 5 nights and it went too fast.We were very impressed with the way Chris managed the covid safety restrictions, it did not spoil our stay in any way. Thank you from Jane and Geoff

What a place, we were so well looked after. Room was very clean and Comfortable, with a lovely view of the Garden with birds, squirrel, and Deer if you are lucky, a Wildlife Wonderland.
A great choice of breakfast served with a smile and a chat, You are made to feel like part of the family, we felt like friends when we left (We did not want to go) our trip was very relaxing, a place to recharge your batteries. The site of the Badgers was an added bonus, we would not hesitate to return to this beautiful tranquil haven, thankyou Chris and Reg.

After several years, we revisited Little Acorns. Chris and Reg greeted us with the same beautiful welcome as years ago. It felt like coming home! Little Acorns is spotlessly clean and so welcoming. The beds are so comfy and the breakfast is delicious. You really don’t need any lunch. Chris and Reg care for their visitors and nothing is too much trouble. Little Acorns is ideally placed to visit the New Forest and surrounding areas and far enough away from the busyness. The garden is so tranquil, that you don’t want to leave and we were lucky to see the badgers each night. Thank you Chris and Reg for reminding us what we had been missing. See you soon. Sue and Barbara

Wonderful bed and breakfast. Short walk to the Horse and Groom where we had a friends birthday event. Very quite, relaxing and got to see lots of wild animals such as badgers (a few meters from our bedroom window), donkeys, deer, horses, cows etc. Set in a great location with lots of wildlife and walks to appreciate and would totally recommend. We are in our 30s and felt this was a great find. Chris and Reg who run The Little Acorn were so warm and friendly and have the cooked breakfast made to perfection!! My wife and myself would love to come back. Money well spent!!

What a fabulous place to relax and unwind. Bedrooms are comfortable and clean; hosts are great - friendly and helpful; ample, delicious breakfast; and the garden is absolutely stunning - could have spent hours sitting and enjoying it. Such an air of calm at Little Acorns. I want to go back!! Loved exploring Woodgreen and enjoyed some beautiful walks and the excellent local pub.
