We stayed for 1 night in one of the dog friendly rooms. The welcome from all the staff could not have been warmer. The room was spacious, light and very comfortable, and in true dog friendly style our dog was provided her own blanket, towel and bone! Our dog is quite nervous and we wanted a table where we could keep her...

We recently returned to Woodlands Lodge following a stay there 38 years ago. It's a beautiful little hotel tucked away in the New Forest and oh so peaceful. We had the Charlotte Garden room which was double en-suite ( large) with a private conservatory leading on to the lovely gardens, would be an amazing room to have in the summer....

Lovely cosey hotel with a fab breakfast! Room nicely decorated with a view of the gardens & Forrest. Walls a bit thin though as I was kept awake all night by a deep load snore in the room next door. Bar not attended when needed but I guess this is due to it being small & friendly & staff covering...

Our family spent a weekend at the hotel in early January and enjoyed a celebratory lunch with 40 friends and family - ages ranging from 4 to 84. The staff could not have been more helpful, the food was excellent and the rooms spacious and comfortable. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

I booked this hotel in order to celebrate my 70th birthday with friends earlier this week. Overall the hotel was very pleasant, lovely location and rooms and very friendly staff. Unfortunately we encountered several problems during our stay. Our dinner the first night was very disappointing, the starters and desserts were beautifully presented but the main courses were not great....

Dear Jan A, it was disheartening to read your review, as we had made every effort to ensure you had a pleasant stay and Gina and Charlotte went above and beyond to help you achieve this. We are a very obliging hotel, as proved by creating you a bespoke menu for you on your birthday. The kitchen team are bedding...
