In a peaceful location, we are ideally located close to the main travel routes - easily accessible and a short drive from Lyndhurst, with ample onsite parking (signposted Woodlands). Our boutique B&B has 11 rooms, many with private terrace, we are dog friendly and the perfect place from which to explore The New Forest. With Gavin Barnes at the helm in the kitchen, experience a tasty all day breakfast, lunch or grab a tasty light bite with friends, enjoy a drink in the sunshine or one of our 'daily specials'. Had lunch with 3 friends. Lovely drive through Forest to this gem. Friendly staff and well cooked food. Burger was very tasty, so was the duck wrap, mezze plate and the ham and eggs. We'd have liked to try the cakes but we're too full....More

It is certainly closed in winter. We swam in it in early September last year and it didn't feel very heated. As the others have said talk to the hotel staff as they are vey helpful. We loved this hotel and stayed there again... More
