This is an amazing place to visit and stay in. Visiting the control tower was like stepping back in time. Everything is immaculate..the attention to detail from the modernist era was simply outstanding. It clearly is a labour of love for the owners Nigel and Clare. Just returned from another visit to The Control Tower and as always an impeccable stay. The welcome from Claire and Nigel is warm and genuine, all rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable (believe me I have nearly stayed in them all) and the breakfast is tasty, fresh and local. I booked the Control Tower for 2 nights for my husband's 70th birthday when I had a number of surprises in store for him, Claire and Nigel helped to make those surprises happen and went out of their way to make it a wonderful stay. The accommodation is excellent, atmospheric and very comfortable - large fluffy towels and thick duvets...

We had an excellent 2 night stay. We stayed in the Stirling Suite specifically because Jack our Labrador stayed too. All 3 of us were made very welcome and the Stirling Suite was gorgeous. Would definitely stay again.

We arrived after a terrible drive to a warm welcome from Claire and Nigel, complete with much needed tea and biscuits in front of a log fire in the lounge. The building has been lovingly converted to a 1940's vintage style B&B from a WW2 airfield control tower. Each room has a vintage feel to it with furniture and fixtures...
